Hampton Inn & Suites Bethlehem

When I first checked into first room the A/C was very loud. The front deck person was very nice and switch my room with a quieter A/C but not that quieter. I lived with it. The maid service was terrible. Not knowing that this property only services your room every other day I didn’t have any cleaning service for three days. I had to walk down to the front deck at 4pm and tell them my room was not done yet and they assured me it was on their list of rooms to be done. I did notice the maid service in the hall yep doors down from my room. My first thought was “well it will be by the time I get back from dinner. When I got back after dinner (7:30pm) the was still not done. The front deck call a very nice maintenance man to come by and clean the room. Short of the very nice front deck person and maintenance man helping me out. This Hampton Inn missed the mark. Hopefully they will make some changes to improve their hotel.

Clean room, enjoyed briefly while in transit. It met expectations.

stay was just great

- The floors were gross and our socks are black from walking around - The treadmill didn’t work well the belt would slide almost causing me to fall. Also the pool was gross like stuff floating and the bottom was dirty. - With the exception of the one lady I spoke to about our room, the rest of the staff was helpful and delightful. - Also, the shower pressure was nice but our towels never dried because it was so incredibly muggy and moist in our room. - We stayed for 5 nights and went swimming the 2nd day. Our suits never fully dried because of how damp the room was.

The best part of this hotel is that it is close to Wegmans, Route 22, and a short drive to Bethlehem. I booked a kitchen suite only to find that the cupboards were completely empty and you have to request dishes, cookware, and flatware. Once I requested it, it was delivered (minus the flatware) in a plastic bin. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable, but the TVs are old and do not have streaming. It was not possible to go for a run or walk from the hotel-- I had to weave through several parking lots to find an intersection with a crosswalk. So its fine if you are driving and want a convenient location.

The staff was amazing. However, anytime I book a hotel I always book with needing a pool in mind. The pump to heat the pool was not working, therefore I was unable to go swimming as the water was extremely cold. Also, the air conditioner was not working for the two nights that I was there. I bought it to the attention of staff, and they did mention that they were having some problems so that was utterly uncomfortable having to sleep in a hot room.

Great experience & loved the room, separate bedroom, had a full fridge, table & chair set to dine & nice lil living room! I had no complaints about my stay, staff was very friendly

The check in was quick and the staff friendly. The hotel was clean, the rooms were updated and spacious. Nice outdoor patio. The breakfast as decent. Plenty of parking. Overall great experience.

After a long series of one-day stays, the Bethlehem stop confirmed our preference for Hampton Inn over many other chains. The room was well-appointed.
