Comfort Inn & Suites Big Spring

The shampoo and conditioner were on a thing on the wall and they fell off …. There was not any lotion at all …. No sausage at the breakfast bar…. Other than that I was very comfortable

Skip this hotel definitely try something else, I do not recommend at all this hotel

AC didn’t work, swimming pool wasn’t working either. Room has a weird smell to it. Will never stay at a Comfort Inn.

Room was clean staff was great. Breakfast was blah, swimming pool was green.

Room was clean but the pool and hot tub were not operating

This is my third trip in which I make a reservation thru your site and I ask for a handicap tub or room and the hotel says they don’t see any type of request.

When we went to breakfast, there was a large dead cockroach on the floor next to the coffee station. That was not the only cockroach we saw during our stay. Needless to say, we were not pleased with our stay. George Kunkle

The first thing I noted when we walked in the room was the big crumbs of something on the floor. I know a lot of laborers stay in Big Spring, so the options aren't always great. The bed covering also had a few crumbs on it, and it looked like someone with dirty clothes had laid down on the bed. The spread had a dingy outline right in the middle of it. Within a few minutes, I started being very critical of everything. The housekeeper (Maria) left a nice note, and an option for a tip. HA! Not a big deal, but the pillows on the couch looked like they were just thrown from across the room, and the foot stools were not where they should have been. It really looked like people had vacated the room just a few minutes before we got there. I didn't walk on the carpet without shoes because it was very stained, and there was a stack of about four used soaps left in the shower. The cleaning seriously looked haphazard and rushed. Don't expect to use the pool anytime soon. We walked past it on our way to leave the next day, and it looked like a toxic waste dump. The water was actually black, and there were several pieces of trash floating in it. The only saving grace we can report is that they are pet friendly, and we were traveling with our dog.

Nice room and comfortable bed. Easy to get to right off the interstate. So there are shampoo and conditioner dispensers on the wall in the tub/shower but no liquid body wash. I found that odd. Had to use the small bar of hand soap in the shower.

We chose the hotel because it advertised as “pet friendly” The fee was $50 while other hotels rarely charge over $25. There was no ice on first floor, grounds were not kept up, elevator was filthy, staff refused to budge on pet fee, but our room itself was clean and cool.

Not much. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Pool was disgusting and not available for use. We were not emailed about this nor told about it at checkin. Also, the ice machine was out of order. And homeless people were wandering in the parking lot during the night,

The room was very clean and maintained well. Air conditioning worked great and room was maintained well during my week. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were acceptable The food was terrible. The orange juice had been watered down and it was difficult to determine if it was orange juice. An attempt was made to water down the waffle mix. When I poured a cup of mix onto the waffle maker a large portion was water and simply steamed on the hot grill. As I attempted to eat it, there was virtually no waffle to eat. I got up and left in disgust. I went to the front desk to check my bill and no one was there. I will never stay in this Comfort Inn again and will probably avoid other Comfort Inns for some time. I have always been happy with my stays in Comfort Inns, feels this was probably the result of incompetent management.

My room had a cigarette butt on the floor so I changed rooms and the carpet was badly stained. There were flies flying around in the lobby, the orange juice machine was clogged and had juice running on the floor and the hallways were extremely hot.

The room was terrible. The door wouldnt close, towels were brown and the funiture was not clean.

Breakfast had both hot and cold options. They seemed to keep it stocked. 1. The pool is and has been non usable for months. It's full of green sledge. The elevator was broke and staff offered no assistance getting my luggage down from the third floor which was problematic as I'm 73 with a recent back surgery. I've stayed at this site several times and it's going downhill fast.

This place was okay but I definitely wouldn't stay again. The ice machine wasn't working and I was told that the pool was "out of season". In the middle of June. What a load of crap. This the sort of stuff I've come to expect from Choice hotels. One good thing was the breakfast
