Ramada by Wyndham Birmingham Airport

was pretty bad… the free breakfast was incredibly sparse and unappealing, the rooms need a lot of repair and remodeling , no microwave in the space where it should be and when i got to 95 degree and humid Birmingham, the air conditioner was totally turned off so it was almost as hot and humid in the room as outside… Moved. to a much nicer Clarion for about the same price

Breakfast was sparse, and there was a dead cockroach on the floor of the breakfast area.

We didn't have an ice bucket, the drawer for the coffee machine wasn't there, so couldn't make coffee. The lady at the front desk didn't even know what it was, so she tried to help but wasn't useful. The room was really clean except the floors could have been much cleaner. But it was comfortable, good price. I would stay again.

Do not come to this place they have no bar, they have no restaurant they put me in a room and the ac didn’t work, it had ants coming out of it and also they moved me to another room and the bedding was not cleaned there was a rag under the sheet! There breakfast was not fit for a dog! There were fruit flies were the loaf of bread was stored. I left a day earlier because i couldn’t take it

The room was clean and comfortable, but the kitchen was closed. It was quiet and a fair value for the money. If the goal is a clean room with quiet atmosphere for a night stopover, it fit the bill. The facility looked a little run down and in need of some refreshing.

The bedding was dirty, the facilities didn’t work, the place smelled of must and mold. There weren’t enough towels for the amount of guests. The a/c unit outside of our room as leaking water into the carpet and made a mold trap. The furniture in the room was dirty. Not all the plugs and lights worked. The commode didn’t flush properly. There weren’t enough towels stain on the walls and ceiling.

The hotel was run down but rooms were updated and nice

Spacious rooms . Not enough room amenities such as soap , body wash etc . The breakfast needs improvement. Old facility outdated. Walls were thin . I was able to hear the guest across the hall.

For $70, you get what you get. A/C works in the rooms, and Lobby. Bring your own shower gel. Grate savings!

1. They charged my card for a $100 "deposit" for 2 rooms. I had to dispute the charge to get it off. 2. There was no coffee in the lobby and the clerk said the Lobby restroom was "clogged". To use the restroom I would have to complete check-in and use the one in the room. 3 There was a sign post "no breakfast sorry for the inconvenience". Seems the sign had been there for a while. Another customer complained while I was standing there and clerk just brushed them off. No attempt to compensate. The sign stayed up our entire stay. 4. I had a 4th/top floor room. The hallway was HOT, no AC. The Room was HOT, AC off. The room took about 15 minutes to cool down . 5. The ceiling in one room was patched from leaking and the microwave was remove. 6.The linen looked dingy and I thoroughly inspected it before using. 7. None of the room waste baskets had liners ???? and seem dingy. 8. In one room the dresser had a piece of wood off the drawers and was falling apart. I will never use they again. Find another hotel. They give Ramada and Wyndam a bad name.

How and why would you charge full price when you’re not able to deliver all your amenities?? Again no answer when I asked about it. Then I stated to the check in counter that I understand why they ask for a deposit, however I’m leaving on the 4th of July driving back to Texas and I’m attending a funeral, I’m not going to be in the room hardly at all, may I please give you the $50 cash so I don’t have to wait for it to be returned to my account. “WE DONT DO THAT”….what, take cash? Okay. Now I’ve been home two days and it still isn’t back in my account. Any way I hope someone told me all this before I drove 14 hours. Never again

Check in workers was very nice and friendly.. Would definitely stay again.

The property is a dump once you walk inside. The staff was fine and helpful. The rooms were okay, but didn’t feel very clean. There was a cigarette burn hole in one of the decorative sheets laid out at the foot of one of the beds in my room. Someone from a past stay’s cards were in the room and a couple pieces of trash in the bins. The “clean” bath towels I was provided each contained long strands of women’s hair in them (very gross). You get what you pay for, but this didn’t feel very sanitary. At checkout, I was hoping to grab a bite to eat at the free breakfast that was advertised, but I was told by the employees at the counter that they haven’t served breakfast at the hotel for some time. Would’ve been nice to not have been charged for a breakfast I didn’t get. Overall, the lesson is when you pay $65 for a hotel room, buyer beware.
