Beautiful hotel, and rooms!

Staying at the Ameristar was very nice. Our room was large, very comfortable and felt like a real treat.

Great experience. Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Oh my goodness, everything was lovely! We went for my partner’s birthday and had the best time. The room was fantastic with a gorgeous view! We also love that we got to pick our room floor with the package we had. Super convenient to have a casino right downstairs and be able to walk to other casinos nearby. Having late night restaurants was a HUGE plus. 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back soon!

Best place to stay while in Blackhawk! Spacious rooms, very clean, great amenities, huge pool, two hot tubs, one indoor, one outdoor!

The mattress was the most uncomfortable I've encountered in a 4 star hotel you could feel the springs and there was a big dip in it..the bed itself was very rickety. The toilet sounded broken when you flushed. The food in all the restaurants was mediocre. We had big hopes as this was the first getaway my husband and I have been able to do since 2019. We wont be back to stay.

Kind of pricey for the room, but we wanted to spend the 4th of July in Blackhawk thinking there would be more going on up there. Fireworks were canceled. Anyway, the room wasn't so clean. There were crumbs in the corner were you can see it was missed a few times not being vacuumed. The room coffee was not that great. There were 2 of us, but one regular pack of coffee. There was a couple things left on the bathroom counter from the last guests, small cuts in the lamp shade, it looks like someone kicked the room fridge. There was a big dent the fridge door and stains on the wall. The beds were nice, but the rest of the room was mid at best. Motel 6 vibes

I called Expedia and Ameristar and each of them blamed the other. I see this as Expedia's chance to do the right thing. They didn’t. I got the same response for both emails I sent. Been using Expedia for everything. Very disappointed. I am not using Expedia again. If you choose to, know the extra protection doesn't cover ANY real situation. I did not get to stay and I wasn't heard. Never had a problem with a trip until now. Sadly when I needed a refund or another night even, they did nothing.

It was clean Bed and pillows were awful! Had to call the front desk and have someone come and turn the shower on. Also tub was not holding water. Just thought more of this place. So sad. We will not be back!

What breakfast I didn't like the fact that the bed hurt my back and it was uncomfortable to sleep in

The staff was really nice and the people there are very nice as well . I like the adult swimming and the hot tub I recently got a new card and I love to gamble. I wish you guys would send me comp rooms because I was working but now I can go more often.

We just really liked the atmosphere.

Waitstaff in the Fireside Kitchen had a don't really care attitude. Facilities, in generate, were great. The pool was spectacular.

This was an all around great place to stay, eat, and gamble. But there was one thing that we were disappointed in. They show the pool and hot tub only for adults after 7pm. We went there close to 9:30pm and there were still 8 very young kids in the pools.

We stayed 4 nights ask for clean towels never got them, no house keeping what so ever. You have to ask it didn’t matter would not recommend this place for that reason
