Howard Johnson by Wyndham Blackwood Near Philadelphia

Not the staffs fault but they put us next to a heavy drinking and smoking group. My kids loved when they saw we had a deck, but were sad they couldn’t stand to be out there because it was to smoky from cigarette smoke.

Cereal is not called breakfast.

Room was clean, staff were helpful and polite.

Outside needed a good cleaning. Room was recently renovated, inside room did not match the outside and was surprised on the room remodel.

Very nice staff-extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was great. Could have used some better water pressure in the shower. Other than that, it was a good value.

The place was just ok and seemed in need of some TLC. Staff was friendly.

Everything was clean, bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels.

Bathroom was not cleaned

The photographs of the rooms are misleading and do not accurately represent the accommodations we received. Upon arriving at our room, we were disappointed by its condition. The headboard was detached from the bed, and the door did not close properly, which created a significant safety concern and left us feeling uncomfortable during our stay.

It is a good decent place to stay. A little dated but clean and with a decent staff.

A great place to get away. Me and my boyfriend have been staying for the past few weeks and love it.

Listen....this hotel suited our purposes. We were attending a weekend-long swimming competition, and I can not tell you how accommodating this hotel was for our family. First of all... the outside balcony was a plus because of all the wet towels generated from the sport. So convenient to be able to hang dry on that balcony. THEN... because the morning session started at 7 am, they let us come in real quick (6:30 am) to get some breakfast, even though they didn't start serving until 7 am. The breakfast didn't have eggs, hash browns, etc, HOWEVER, they did have a kickass waffle machine that actually worked, AND there were 2 of them!! They have other stuff such as bagels, yogurt, and cereal.... The lady operating the breakfast was top notch!! She had everything out, and she was very accommodating and friendly. The room I was in (215) was... updated and very clean. We needed more towels....BAM! They were on it! The cleaning staff was professional and thorough! Look.....was it the Ritz? No way, but the price was right, AND we got everything we needed! There is a WAWA right next door you could walk to. The area is a little sketchy. I mean, I wouldn't leave my doors unlocked for too long, but I believe that's true anywhere you go these days.

The pool was always way overcrowded and we could never get in. If we walked in bare feet in our room we would need to knock dirt off the bottom of our feet before getting into bed. We had our room cleaned several times while we were there, but the same Cheeto (from whoever had the room before us) stayed on the floor the entire time. The fridge made a terrible noise all night - we asked several time to get it looked at. We just ended up unplugging it.

Another solid stay. Hotel has spacious rooms, pool is great, breakfast checks out, and everything is on par. Nothing fancy but for $100-something per night, not complaints.
