Fairfield Inn by Marriott Deptford

My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and welcoming!!!! I didn’t catch their names but it was a female and male at check in that acted so genuinely interested that we were there :)

I loved the location and the clean smelling hallways as well as the spacious rooms. They did not allow you to use prepaid bank cards like cash app or zelle to check in which was a major set back for me causing me problems.

The person that greeted us (Leslie) was super nice! They offered us waters and fun popcorn! We appreciated it!!

The location You had to pay $5 to park in the lot after already paying to stay there. That isn't right. The breakfast wasn't that good. Eggs were cold.

Nice clean hotel. Stayed for an Eagles game.The breakfast spewad in the morning was good. I would definitely come back. Having to pay $5 for parking.

ROOM 327: -Room smelled musty/damp, like mildew. -A/C puts out cool moist air so the room was clammy & damp. Probably due to dirty A/D filter. -Got in the shower, no soap in the dispenser. -Need to inform customers when checking in that smoking pot in the rooms is not allowed since everyone can smell it in the hallway! -Put food in the refrigerator and it froze.

WE enjoy our stay. everything was clean and great enviroment.

The cleaning staff was also very loud, talking across rooms and laughing loudly. The room was only stocked with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and one washcloth. We went down to the front desk and they were nice and gave us several towels. Most concerning, there were a couple of men outside on the bench directly outside the entrance smoking what appeared to be crack pipes. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.

The hotel and especially the room we stayed in smelled musty. The bathroom was nice with the expectation of an absolutely disgusting used lotion bottle and a hand towel that had not been picked up from previous guests!!!! Also there is now a $5 per night parking fee which is unacceptable. Always nickel and diming guests.

I can’t say anything good about this property other than if it rained, it would have kept us dry (and that is an assumption)!

Nice hotel, but the $5 parking fee is silly. Huge open parking lot. The Hotel isn't in NYC or Philly. Just raise the rate $5. Would probably stay again if in area.
