Holiday Inn Bloomington-University Area by IHG

Room was cleaned only once in5 days, bar was never open, carpets in public areas an room were badly stained, sheets weren’t clean, bloody band aid under the bathroom sink from previous visitors

Shame on you Holiday Inn,

Rooms were perfectly acceptable. The pool was nice, but the restaurant- which is advertised, has been closed for years. The bar was also closed. Other than the pool, there are no amenities.

Our room was a very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the university with shopping and restaurants nearby as well.

Hotel is old and outdated, rooms are musty smelling and wet. Breakfast was expensive. And halls stunk

Terribly dirty. Found 3 huge bugs in my room and one in the bathroom.

The common areas were very dirty. The bedsheets did not look as though they had been cleaned. The staff was very nice.

Two rooms did not have a working shower and one smelled awful from mold and mildew. Carpet stains everywhere. Sine they could not find a functioning room for us we left for another hotel. Don't think twice, skip this one.

The handle to the bathroom door was falling off. The hot water spigot didn’t turn off normally, you have to jiggle it. The ac is super noisy, they don’t have plastic laundry bags for guest in the rooms. And the staff is pretty much checked out. I’d avoid this hotel until the renovations are complete.

This property is soon to be renovated but guests were encouraged to ask if they needed anything, so I did and the front desk assistant Emily went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Really, really kind and helpful.

Kathy that works in the breakfast area is such a sweet wonderful very friendly lady! She went over and beyond her service! Holiday Inn you have a wonderful worker!!! The breakfast food was very good.
