In need of a complete renovation

Location was good. Able to walk to football stadium. Bathroom tub did not drain properly. TV station access was from the 1980’s. Common area carpets stained. Weird smell in room.

Parking is free..only bonus! Breakfast for purchase. Room was clean but not updated. Lobby carpet had stains.

The hotel needs an immediate facelift. The room was gross - possible blood stains on the carpet and the air coming out of the vents seemed dirty. Outside of the staff being friendly, there was nothing redeeming about this property.

Our room was disgusting. There were visible stains on the carpet, sheets, and comforter. The bathroom smelled strongly of mildew and urine. Based on the condition when we arrived, it was difficult to believe the room or bathroom had been properly cleaned before our stay. It wasn't just our room. The entire hotel was dark, dirty, and poorly maintained. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, and the overall cleanliness was terrible. Regardless of the nightly rate, these are unacceptable conditions for any hotel guest. Clean bedding, a sanitary bathroom, and a properly cleaned room are basic expectations. The fact that we were charged more than $700 per night for Parents Weekend made the experience even more outrageous. Premium rates for a hotel in this condition are simply unjustifiable. We are requesting that Holiday Inn/IHG contact us directly and provide an appropriate refund or meaningful compensation for this stay. We would absolutely not stay here again.

The building smelled like dead animals. The hallways were not air conditioned and I could not park near my room entrance. The ceiling in my room was falling apart. I have nave been more disappointed in my life. I hardly slept and was in Bloomington to watch my son play football

Location proximity It was filthy. Stains all over the carpet, dust and hair on bases and walls. I killed a cockroach in my room. The staff was nice and put me in a new room. Not as bad but still not good. If I had another stay option at that time, I would have left.

I am very unhappy since I have been charged twice for my stay!

And this hotel changed its management and change its interior, so the entrance and many areas are dirty. Also this hotel allow staying with the pets. My daughter has the allergy on cats so she had to take anti-allergy pill everyday.

Understand they’re undergoing renovations but they should not have rented that room. Desk clerk was nice but we had to go to her to get clean towels. Had friends with us who had never been to Bloomington. As Alums, we were very disappointed.

Excellent stay! The staff is professional and kind. I left an important bag in the room when I checked out. I called the front desk, and someone immediately went to the room to secure my belongings! The bag had immeasurable emotional value! I appreciate the staff! Thank you!

Not clean, stains on rugs and walls

Location is very convenient for Indiana University. Room is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The hotel common areas need upgrading. The parking lot is good

The property was close to IU, BUT that was the only positive. The room smelled terrible, the carpets were stained, sticky and dirty. The phones did not work in the room so there was not calling the front desk, several lights were out in the room and on the third night we started seeing roaches. Options near there are limited.
