There was an issue with my reservation and they went way above and beyond to get it squared away. Front desk was awesome, The whole staff was great. The property is older but appears to have been recently renovated. Our room was very nice with quality fixtures and good HVAC and appliances. Cleanliness was on point. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but wholesome. Cereal, bagels/muffins and a toaster. Yogurt, fresh fruit. Remarkably good coffee. Everything was fresh and clean and nice and well presented. The lush garden courtyard was a great place to sit and enjoy drinks and conversation, I really admired the southern magnolia. The Wifi was fast and reliable. A very pleasant surprise offering outstanding facility and service at a very good price point. Impressed, will stay again.

This is such a unique little hotel! The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the room was really good for the price. Some parts look a bit rundown (outside the hotel and the breakfast area), but I would still stay here again.

Easy check in

Clean, basic room in a great location on the north end of Bloomington. Very quiet and peaceful setting with a groomed path to beautiful Cascades Park. If you're expecting a brand new, flashy exterior, you'll be disappointed, but for great value and a chill atmosphere, you can't go wrong here.

The courtyard was filled with pretty flowers. The breakfast was complimentary and a nice start to the day. Staff was helpful when asking for something. Well placed to go anywhere in Indiana.

What a great find this was in Bloomington! Great value! Cozy place with character. Room was spotless, new floors, nice paint, flawless. Nice breakfast area. Love the retro couches, fireplace, bookshelves in lobby! Absolutely would stay again!

I have always given 5-star reviews for our stays at Cascades. For the money you're paying here, it has always been a pretty good value. BUT... I had to take some stars off my review this time for the category about how well-maintained the property was. The room itself was clean and nice, but the mattress was TERRIBLE. We stayed in a king-sized room and the mattress was so bad. Both sides of the mattress were caved in. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep and we both woke up very sore.

It was probably the uncleanest hotel I've ever been to.

Great budget hotel. Property is aging, but being kept up - very eclectic! Staff is very kind. We've stayed many times with zero issues. Property is adjacent to a beautiful park, but requires being able to descend and climb a fairly big hill. The path is clean and groomed, but requires some degree of athleticism. Continental Breakfast is adequate and a great perk.
