Location No water for a day, no hot water after that, no maid service 3 days and when they did come it was done half ass
-
The carpets were dirty--elevator exits were dirty. There was a sign upon entering that the hotel was beginning renovation. We saw Millwork trim in boxes in the hallway. No coffee pot in the room. Assuming Holiday Inn Express doesn't provide those. The bed was lumpy.

Hotel is being renovated, so there are some cleanliness issues. Overall it was a good stay and the staff was outstanding.

The placed smelled musty. there was construction people everywhere along with dust and dirt. it wasn’t worth the price paid.

The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that there was not a coffee maker in the room. I contacted the front desk and they did send one up although there normally are not coffee makers in the in the rooms.

The cost of room from hotels.Von was $144 +, my tr pit from hotel Was only for $100.34. Huge discrepancy? Of this is the up charge for using hotels.com I will No longer be using them. $40 is a huge difference and for the quality of room was way too much To be on the fair side, hotel is in mid renovations . Howe er, still no ex use for lack of cleanliness in the rooms.

Going through some improvements and the stay went very well.

-Breakfast - food was fresh and there was a good variety of things to choose from. We had a bumpy stay. I booked through Hotels.com because when I called the hotel to see if they would price match (to avoid nearly $100 in fees), they said no. Problem 1: We arrived at 11pm (coming in town after working a full day) and they no longer had our 2 queen bed room. Would we be willing to take a king with a pull out? Not really, but what other choice did we have. Problem 2: The room they gave us did not have a pull-out sofa. We are a family of 4 and a king bed is not enough for us to sleep in. Problem 3: The girls at the front desk, while very nice, were unable to problem solve. After I mentioned that they could at least bring up a pool chair and bedding for one of my kids to sleep on and they said they had no extra bedding. The front desk called back a minute later and said they think they had a room, but they wanted to make sure there was a pull-out sofa. There was, so we switched rooms. Problem 4: The room smelled musty and we had to kill two stink bugs. It made me very nervous about what else was lingering. But....my car was the only other option for a place to sleep. The rooms also do not match the pictures online. This could be because they're going through a renovation, so this is what the finished product will look like (??), but it was definitely false advertising for us.
