The rooms are older but everything was very clean. The staff was excellent. The proximity to everything was very convenient. We will be staying there again next time we visit Blowing Rock.

The property is super cute but the AC was not the best and the toilet had a very weak flush. The property is located in a very good area you can walk to uptown blowing rock

Our stay was pleasurable. The Davidson Suite was very nice. The onlybproblem we encountered was many of the electrical outlets were not usable, especially in the kitchen area. Other than that we were very pleased with our accommodations.

Great experience at the motel. Very comfortable bedding. Walking distance to all the Blowing Rock shops and restaurants.

The location is great, being within walking distance of center of Blowing Rock. Parking is convenient being right in front of room. Room was clean and consistent with prior stays over the years. Only thing that should be improved is better quality toilet paper. The single ply is not in keeping with the overall positive expeir.

Old world charm in a great location

Close to Boone - right off main road but quiet. Pristine clean!!!! Nothing. It is older, but it was pristine clean!

Quaint but dated.

Great location. Walked to almost everywhere while I was in town. Pillows were far too soft/thin. Only complaint.

The property is charming and located very close to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond expectations. No complaints.

It was a little expensive because of graduation weekend, but cheaper than the hotels/motels in Boone. It was in a cute motel in a cute area. They did not serve breakfast, but there is a little breakfast place across the street. I was able to bring my dog and that is a bonus. As I walked my dog in the area, I found a really cute area to explore with a little creek and small fountain. It was a beautiful place. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. If I had to pick something, I would say the price, but as I said it was cheaper than the others in the area. It was about 5 miles outside of Boone, but I actually liked the peace of getting out of the crowded area.

Location and aesthetics! Nothing

This is an older "motel" so it's a bit dated by today's hotel standards. No big deal except that the walls aren't the thickest and so your neighbors can effect your sleep. We had some early birds start their truck at 6:00 am and that's a bit early for me. Still, it was less expensive than the hotels in town so it was worth the stay. Also, I hate marshmallow beds and that's what we got. I wish hotels and motels would consider that not everyone likes squishy matresses.

Plenty of parking - quiet and close to restaurants.

Cute cozy
-
It was old motel style, in the heart of town. Very walkable to restaurants and pretty local shops.

The shower head does not work. It was just a sprinkle and no hot water. That’s the only thing was wrong. It was very cute otherwise and I would have rated it a 10. May just be an issue with room 104.
