Stayed here just for one night while passing through Blowing Rock, lovely and clean property overlooking a meadow with mallard ducks that we enjoyed looking at.

We stayed in the annex which was spacious and had a microwave and mini fridge. The elevator was out of service so we had to walk up to our room. We had a king bed which was reasonably comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean but the sun porch furniture was literally shredding. We had put the ac on auto but it never seemed to shut off. It was one large vent in the center of the room blowing on the bed. We had to shut it off at night as it was too drying. Hot water was great and we did take advantage of the pool which was quite large, good for laps. Good wifi and large selection of stations on satellite TV. The hallway carpets were dated and it was surprising to find the entrance door to the annex with no security lock. Also no diet soda in the vending machines. Very convenient location could walk into town. The front desk receptionist gave us a bottle of wine as we were there celebrating our anniversary which was a nice touch. There is a working gas fireplace which is a nice touch. Despite the shortcomings we did enjoy our stay.

Contrary to online info, they do NOT provide any breakfast.

Nice, clean hotel in heart of Blowing Rock! No food options at hotel though. Indoor pool was nice but kind of cold. Rooms were nice and newer. Beds comfy but pillows flat.

Price did not match the experience Our original room had no air conditioning, it took over 45 minutes to be moved, the new room keys didn’t work twice, and there was no hair dryer. The staff was polite and apologized, but no one offered any meaningful service recovery. I understand that problems happen, but for a hotel at this price point, I expected a better response to make things right.

Great place to stay in Blowing Rock. The room was spacious and clean. Family friendly hotel.

The staff are very courteous and helpful. We had the room that had its own private pool downstairs from the bedroom suite. There is a pump room associated with the pool and it was so loud it made falling asleep difficult. We asked if it could be turned off and that wasn’t possible, but the staff did offer us some earplugs. That they even had earplugs on hand tells you something. So, you’ll want some sort of sedative to help you sleep in this room. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay one night.

The room was spotless, and there was always a friendly person at the desk to help you

Perfect for our one night stay in Blowing Rock, will be back!

Rooms could be maintained a little more for the price paid, and there were some dirty spots of the room. Still love this place and will most likely be back for a third time

Very clean

Meadowbrook Inn is within walking distance of so many stores, restaurants and a wonderful park. Parking was not an issue and the rooms were very spacious (we had a king suite) and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and even had a craft table near the lobby for the kids. Coffee bar in the lobby was nice as was availability of beer and wine to purchase. The pool was nice with towels provided. Will stay here whenever we are in the area.

I’ve requested a refund for this stay and still not heard back. When we arrived, the ac unit in our room was broken and it was 82 degrees in the room. They did not have another room available for us. We also found there was mold in the room on the trim and ceiling. I have photos of all of this. We had to book another hotel for our family for the rest of the weekend. I would like this stay refunded. The property manager told us they would approve when they said we needed to reach out to you but I have still not seen a refund.

The location of the hotel is the best thing the hotel has going for it. However, the facility is worn out and has not been maintained. Carpet is worn out and dirty. Rooms are dark, furnishings are worn and dated, no attention to details (back on TV remote missing). WiFi inconsistent and addressing the issue not possible until the next day. Landscaping overgrown making walking to facilities a challenge. Sealed double pane windows have lost seals and are frosted over. I hope the owners will pay attention to things and renovate.
