The location was good and I was very pleased with the handicap facilities.

Great location. Picturesque room and view. More shelf space in the bath. The claw foot tub was hard to get into and out of.

Would have been nice if creek area had been cleaned up. Thought location was closer to Main Street.

we had an excellent stay, the room bedding was excellent and cleaning. Also there is one separate sitting area/room which is luxury. The backyard has a patio table with chairs which is neat and peaceful. I liked it very much, it exceeded my expectation.

Everything was great

Stayed 3 nights. Nice little motel close to downtown blowing rock. Office was closed when we arrived so Staff called me prior to check in and left a key in the drop box. Room was clean. Mattress and pillows were a little to firm so I didn’t sleep well. Bathroom was clean, water pressure was great but the water was warm but not hot the entire time. The office was closed the entire time and the room was not cleaned daily or towels exchanged. Overall a good experience but probably would stay somewhere else next visit.

I just wanted/needed rest and peaceful getaway. The fire alarm chirped in the middle of the night, called emergency number when removing batteries didn’t work and stood on chair while talked through disconnecting. Heater didn’t work. Turned off at first as room was like a sauna. Turned on second night, no warm air, slept in layers. I’m a 62 year old woman with my service dog and put in a room next to entry with everyone walks by right by. I left on tears

Rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was out.
-
Nice location and quiet The bed was not very comfortable but the room itself was so pretty

Loved the porches and little creek out back. Great place to stay with a pup. Rustic charm but had everything we needed. The sheets were so soft. Much better than the sandpaper sheets most places are using these days.
-
Bed was old and grooved, tub difficult to navigate for shower, but price is right and quaint location/site.

Great place to stay - felt like home!
-
The staff were friendly, the price was very affordable, and the place was clean.

The room was clean but there was a musty smell. Staff was very kind and worked with me to change to a room where the smell was not as bad. The room and bathroom are small. Traveling with multiple people would feel quite cramped.
-
Room was fine but mattresses may need replacing in both stays in during our March visits.

Nice place. Let us check out late. Good location. Worth

Nice location, loved the hardwood floors, antique furniture, horse decor, back porch with rockers. The only thing really that I didn't like was the very strong musty smell of the room, I had trouble breathing at night it was so strong.
