Sweet little cabin

Delightful setting and gardens. Small but charming. The grandkids loved the loft. The front and back porches are appreciated.Close to everything. They need to replace some of the electric outlets.

The place didn’t quite look like it did in the photos. We stayed in the queen-sized cottage, and it didn’t really match the description or the pictures. It wasn’t bad for one night, though.

Small but clean great location

I like to stay in the condo suite at the Mountainaire, it's lovely! It's annoying to have to check in at a nearby hotel, but the receptionists there are attentive and kind so it's a small inconvenience and doesn't keep me from returning. The property grounds are pretty and the AC works well in the summer, in addition to floor fans they keep in the rooms.

Too small for 3 adults and very old for paying over $230 a night.

Everything was excellent apart from the garden furniture it was nice to have a private outdoor space but the cushions on the garden furniture were dirty and some were missing this we thought let the property down that otherwise was perfect

The location is the only thing it has going for it. The Bed was hard like a plank of wood. The light bulb in the single lamp was blown. It was dark and depressing.

The atmosphere here was perfect for a mountain town. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. However, the whole room was sloped pretty severly, and when showering it was overly apparent that its not level. Its in the perfect location for walking to everything! We thought it was odd that there was no staff on site but check in and out was easy. And the staff at Meadowbrook was vey helpful.

Check in and parking was relatively easy Pictures on website looked substantially better than the actual room itself which was small, outdated, and not comfortable

Great location! Very clean!

I stayed in a mini cabin that had a fireplace. I loved it

N/A Understaffed. I received an email confirming early check in. I arrived two hours early and the room wasn’t ready. No rooms available for check in until 40 minutes after the NORMAL check in time. Then found out the rooms were actually clean, but not “inspected”.

Great as always. Will return

the place was in a very center place from main town. when I saw the pictures and the site on line did not specified that there were 5 different locations neither that the check in was so difficult. Also, the emergency phones or the service number never respond. I needed an iron because the room did not provided it. No one respond my calls. Lastly, when I check in, the receptionist gave us the wrong WiFi hotel, log in and password. So, overall, wrong advertisement or not specified. Definitely, I will be more careful when check in on online sites.

Was good place

The price Bed wasn't very comfortable, no microwave, no mini fridge, no coffee maker. Toilet was so small and the room didn't feel level. It had a table but only one chair. Ok to stay for a night, but not recommended to stay more that that.

Great, cozy cabin. Great location to visit App State with our rising high school senior. The parking area was not very accessible for a front wheel drive, but the weather has been crazy and the very helpful person that is in charge of the facilities helped us with salt, shovels, and a push. Took just a minute and then we were back to relaxing.

Staff was great. The cabin was terrible. The shower head did not work. The staircase was almost impossible the get up and down from the loft unless you were a skinny 10 year old. The parking is very tight. The last night we were there it was 0 degrees and the heater stopped working. I have stayed in numerous hotels there in Blowing Rock and this was the worst.

Locations and space Door had no insulation and air blew in around whole door. With -25 temps it was not good.
