Modern Hotel

Close to freak alley. Breakfast was excellent…terrific coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. Staff were super friendly. Art all around. Very clean. We could walk everywhere. Our air conditioner was a tad noisy

The venue has great personality with a small courtyard with fire pits, chairs, and tables to enjoy the outdoors. The breakfast food and coffee, which were included in our stay, were delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have free bike ‘rentals’ that we were able to use to explore the area along the river, which was only a few minutes away. Our room was exceptionally well maintained, very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the amenities we needed. We would most definitely stay at this property again for our next visit to Boise.

Great hotel on west side of downtown Boise. Walking distance for good food and great coffee. Staff couldn't be more helpful. And inclusive as hell!! Bravo!

Our dog enjoyed her treats from the staff. She kept wanting to go to the patio seating for the bar to get more. Great complimentary breakfast. Easy walk to everything downtown.

Lovely little old fashioned motel in the heart of downtown. They have a great breakfast made in-house.

Very cool update to an older hotel. Room was comfortable and nicely designed. Included breakfast was a very nice touch. We had to go to the front desk every night to get more coffee for the in room coffee maker for the next morning. Consider just replacing the coffee packs each day if they have been used.

Good location, clean, modern. Staff was rude and directed us to eat in the street when we sought to enjoy our takeout on the patio and order a beer. They claimed that the health department would not allow it. Typically these courtyards are open to guests so it was unusual their desire to shoo us away. Our room only had a single chair and thin railing so there was no convenient place for us to eat.

Great place to stay. Close to downtown. Friendly staff. Breakfast set up was pretty awesome and I would definitely stay here again.

We love the classic style of the modern. The facility was super clean. The staff super friendly. The morning coffee/breakfast was a great amenity. Very strong and good coffee! Our room was a bit small, but we did book for economy, so maybe that’s on us. We’d stay again. Oh, and the bikes! That was a total bonus!

The Modern Hotel is a welcoming and fun place to stay. It’s walkable and close to downtown and the riverwalk area of Boise. The staff were amazing, helpful, and very friendly. Will stay there again when we are in the Boise area.

Clean, really comfy bed, bikes to use to peddle the park Bike gears kept slipping, icky bike helmets

The property was Downtown, very clean and well decorated. The breakfast and coffee were very much appreciated and all the staff was kind.
