Holiday Inn Boone - University Area by IHG

This 8s the third time I've stayed at this hotel and will be the last

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel was very basic. The room was small and the bed very firm. The hot tub was nice but the pool was freezing. The breakfast options were basic and only coffee &tea were complimentary. There was a small bar but it was closed because the hotel was still waiting for their liquor license. The stay was pleasant but I expected more.

The hotel was nice. No hair dryer in the room, but we asked for one and they had one for us.

This was my second stay here and it was just as good as the first time I came a few years ago! I appreciate the cleanliness, kind staff, and minimal noise.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice heated indoor pools

Cleaning staff were nice. Building needs a lot of maintenance work. Locks worked off and on. Pool and hot tub combo are nice but the water in the hot tub didn’t look so great after our first day, not sure it was getting cleaned. Heard other guests say the same thing. Only one working elevator, I don’t mind taking the stairs but they were in disrepair as well. On site kitchen seemed nice on the list of things but prices were a bit high for what it was. $15 for a 3 egg omelet I could get a the diner down the road for half the price.

No breakfast

My hotel room was never cleaned, even though I went to the desk to ask about it. The room was humid and damp, and on the first floor. Even with the shade pulled completely down, you could see right through my window and the outside dusk to dawn light shown in through my room, illuminating it all night long anyone passing by my room outside could easily see inside to where I was sleeping. Not great.

Room was a good size and clean.

Room was clean..the elevator was broken and we had to come down the Stairts from the 5th floor..not to good.

No free breakfast there website lies, no microwave, I have stayed at 3 other hotels in surrounding area, this has been the worse, I should have stayed at any other hotel!!

Room clean, bed comfortable. Location fine, but busy road to turn into and out of. Probably look around next time for a different spot.

We paid for breakfast and did not receive a voucher. I asked the front desk and the guy told me he did not see where I paid for it, but gave me a card for complimentary breakfast for 1 day, but not for the next day. Overall the place was nice and semi clean. The bathtub was not the cleanest and our towels had stains on them
