Staff was exceptional and rooms very clean. Balconies all on water was an additional treat.

The "light" continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and the whole harbor atmosphere was most enjoyable. Could have done without listening to the lobster wharf restaurant constantly announcing when someone's order was ready.

Very nice harbor view from room and deck. Would have liked divider between decks for privacy from neighbors.

I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I have stayed in luxury hotels that cost $1,500 a night, and none of them compared to the hospitality, cleanliness, and atmosphere at Brown’s Wharf Inn. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. One moment that really stood out was when my husband asked if they sold Advil. Instead of just saying no, the front desk clerk came back with a small cup containing chocolates and ibuprofen for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects how much they care about their guests. Our room was spotless—one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The waterfront views, peaceful balconies, and relaxing harbor atmosphere made it incredibly difficult to leave. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations. Brown’s Wharf Inn has officially become our favorite hotel. We fell in love with Boothbay Harbor, and this hotel played a huge part in that experience. We will absolutely be returning for years to come, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brown’s Wharf Inn to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, immaculate accommodations, and an unforgettable stay in coastal Maine. Location, water view, nice room Nothing!

There was a lovely view. They had washer and dryer which was very handy. It was a little dated and the breakfast was so so.

Location was great. Breakfast was adequate for not having a restaurant Would of like to be able to have a cigar on the deck or down below looking towards the water.

Great location! View was amazing. Although no restaurant the restaurants are right on either side. Immaculate rooms and check in staff was sweet!

The bathroom was tiny. So small it was difficult to maneuver in.

Rustic. The room was big. Not too far from great food places The staff is great and accommodating! While having issues with propane, they moved us to one of the cute little cabins next door. We were grateful for the accommodations! During our stay, the property was undergoing propane issues, therefore we were not able to have hot water and we did not have the convenience of having a restaurant on the premises.
