Property is not well represented by the photos. Our room was dirty and moldy smelling. We did not stay at this hotel. There are a lot of long term residents at this property. The staff was nice and they gave us a full refund. We moved to another hotel.

We arrived 30 minutes after check in time and were told that our room would not be available for 30 to 40 minutes. Since we had to shower and change our clothes in order to make an appointment we cancelled our reservation and checked in to another motel.

Overall, it was a place to rest our heads for the night and move on.
-
Location is good for me The room smelled like someone was smoking before. They should have more restricted rules for smoking
-
In hindsight, we should have requested a room at the back of the facility. The road noise kept us awake much of the night. The room was clean but our king bed seemed to be 2 twins put together with a strange trough in the middle. It was fine for a night.

The photos of this property make it appear SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than it actually is. In reality, this place is VERY run down, dilapidated, and disgusting. We made a pit stop here for the night on our drive back to Maine from Myrtle Beach and immediately regretted it as soon as we got to our room. This place has total boarding house vibes. There are clearly a lot of very questionable people who live here full-time. The entire place wreaked of cigarette smoke and it was VERY noisy (music blaring, people yelling, doors slamming, etc.). Our room had mold in the bathroom, half of the lights didn't work, and the air conditioning didn't work. It was so bad that we wound up only staying for a few hours and got a refund through Expedia. Avoid booking here at all costs!!!
