It was great staying there

The hotel needs to be renovated.

Be aware if you stay here they will charge you a smoking fee 7-9 days after you check out saying they found evidence that you were smoking in your room. I don’t smoke and have never smoked but they charged me $250 saying I did. Don’t stay here!

The staff and breakfast... the room good as well I would have liked a better fitness center.

Decent location Seemed very run down. Toilet was broken. Holes in walls. The staff seemed very confused about how online 3rd party bookings and charged me $18 in taxes that I had already paid with my online reservation. Likely wouldn’t stay here again in the future.

Gated parking Outdated, every lamp in my room was different & a little wonky as in lampshade didn’t fit. Hall walls had patches of plaster showing where bumped by guests and/or laundry carts. Needs fresh paint & updating of carpet !

Room update

Elevator problems made it a bit hetic

My review is not based on the staff. The staff was a wonderful staff. They were very accommodating. What I did not like about the hotel the elevator was down for two days while I was there. It came back up late Saturday night, so therefore we had to climb the stairs. I also found a roach in our hotel room. Also, the hotel bathroom was very dirty by the floor. The tub had black mold around it over all the hotel room was not a good hotel room.

The guy at the desk was great! Stayed the 20th to 21st. Absolutely a reason to visit again, especially when they treat you like family. The one they like.

Mostly clean room other than a stained side chair. Only issues were a running toilet all night and no body wash in the dispenser. But overall clean quiet and comfortable

Great friendly staff from front desk to housekeepers they went over and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay the room was nice and clean the location was great nice and quiet N/A

Very nice staff. The AC kept freezing up.

Close to family for our visit. There was an electrical fire, and smoke filled the entire first floor. The comforter had smoke burns from a cigarette. Toilet seat cracked and mold in the bathroom. When I was checking in, they had misplaced my paperwork...doubting that I had even made a reservation. Because of the fire and my asthma, we had to checkout and find a different place to stay which cost more money since it was last minute. We were only at the Wingate 7 hours and still had to pay for one day.
