El Rancho Boulder Motel

A/C does not cool room effectively especially if outside temp is 108 degrees. Also, their pool closes at 8pm when most others are open to 10pm.

I have been coming to the El Rancho Motel since I was lying! It has such warm happy memories! I love the location in Boulder City and the fact that it never changes, except for the remodeling and updating! I feel at home! The staff went out of its way to help me enjoy my stay and even though we had a late check in, the room was ready for us! I’m happy that the mattresses are so much more comfortable! The sparkling pool was a great place to relax and unwind! Absolutely nothing! I love everything about the El Rancho motel!

AC was a little loud

Single story motel with parking outside our door. Location to Hoover Dam and great restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff and night help! Very old rooms in need of baseboard repair and general updating. The cable was not plugged in properly, but the night crewman happily fixed it at 11:30 pm. No coffee maker in the room.

Bathroom was not the best I’ve seen in terms of cleaning mess and functionality. Ok it’s a motel I don’t have great expectations however, I believe that things like that could be greatly improved with a really low cost. Anyways

Friendly staff, nice pool,centraly located, clean and had a great Italian restaurant across the street.

Was impressed with how clean the place was. The extra touches with the towel art were really nice. It surpassed my expectations.

No breakfast provided. Staff was very polite and room was clean. The shower water valve was next to impossible to pull on. Corners of metal bed frame exposed and could easily scrape and bruise your legs, A/c was very loud and vibration.

Love the location, the staff are excellent. It’s a very cute place. Arrived mid-afternoon to find the a/c wasn’t turned on in the room. (it was 100+ degrees outside). The room was unbearably hot until about 1 am. They need to invest in some more efficient air conditioning units, and have the rooms at a reasonable temperature when guests arrive.

Beautiful location, clean rooms and grounds, pet friendly.

This is an older motel with a fun retro vibe. The couple running it are friendly and hardworking, you feel their heart is into it. Don’t get me wrong this is not a swanky establishment and we did not want a swanky establishment; clean rooms, fantastic pool, grounds were up kept, and I believe they are ticking off the remodel to do list. We will definitely be back, thank you for a fabulous stay?
