Courtyard by Marriott Bradenton Sarasota Riverfront

I’m not one to complain but I didn’t have the best experience at this location. It smelled musty in the hallway and the carpets were horribly dirty. They had little commercial fans a couple nights of my stay right outside my hotel door.. I guess the ice machine leaked and they were drying the carpet? I paid extra for a river view room and it was awful the room spelled like bad body odor I had to go purchase a candle and car air fresheners to stick on the AC unit to try to make it smell better. It just felt all around dirty. The lobby was nice but beyond that it’s nothing like what they picture online. Also the first night I was there I got woken up by people SCREAMING at each other right outside my balcony because there’s a riverwalk right there, i tried to be nice and ask them to quiet down that I had to work in the morning and they proceeded to cuss at me and continue yelling so I called the front desk and asked if they had any security that I had people screaming and cussing outside my room and they asked me if the individuals were on the property? I told him I’m not sure if it’s the hotel property or considered the riverwalk but they are MAYBE 150ft away he says well if they are not in the hotel property, then there’s nothing we can do about it. You have to call the cops. Let’s just say it wasn’t the best experience I’ve ever had.

Dirty carpets in hallways. Very good location. Rooms clean, mattress comfortable. Laundry poorly equipped.

The room needs updating and the bathroom was not clean. Black hair in tub and sink, and not a small amount. I had to clean tub to give kids bath. Air return was so loud had to turn air off to sleep. Employees were all very nice and hotel is in a good spot.

This is an excellent place to stay when balancing location and cost.

There was a computer mix up and my card didn’t get charged for 2 nights. September 9-10 I paid for 9.14 and they still made me leave the room even when it was paid for just had to pay the earlier days and they only took a card and no Apple Pay. Horrible management. I also had what looked like a bed bug and they didn’t even care and didn’t try to help accommodate me. I had 6 bags and had to move to another room 2 floors up with no help from staff. Wasn’t even an option for them to even offer to wash all my clothes. And I had ordered $60 with if dinner from DoorDash which was cold and just not a pleasurable experience to eat a nice meal after that. Zero customer service or empathy and work ethic.

Room could use microwave Also in room coffee maker could be upgraded to a keurig type machine.

Nice clean and convenient place for our one night stay!

The room was clean and the restaurant on-site had yummy food and drinks and was very affordable. I didn't get to use the pool but it looked great. The location is great for walking during the day. They didn't recommend walking at night unless you were with a group. The bed and pillows were comfy.
