    easy park

Well, it definitely is a motel. We drove in and immediately saw shopping carts in a pile in the corner of the parking lot. There was shrubbery all over. Cracks in the parking lot. The lobby isn't clearly marked and you have to drive toward the back of the parking lot before you see it (side entrance). The staff wasn't out front so you had to hit a doorbell. They answer and tell you to take your key card from a "lockbox" which is open and your key cards are sitting there out in the open. They said "okay, you're good" without checking ID or credit card. There weren't great markings where to go to find the room. The hallways smelled like a mix of old cigarettes, weed, and incense. The room did seem pretty clean despite all of that. I could tell they took care of the rooms. There was a hidden hole in the room of the floor underneath the carpet, though, that would have been easy to trip over. All said, I still got a decent night sleep but probably wouldn't stay there again.

The staff was friendly, when we first arrived the room we were put into smelled of fish, tv didn’t work , and AC didn’t work. They moved us to a ground level unit. Unfortunately the first floor seems to be housing tenants with odd behaviors. The hallway smelled of cigarettes. And out side both entrance “tenants” would hang out with other tenants and cause a commotion. The second room had mold on the beds headboards and the windows did not latch properly. The carpet felt wet and we did not walk barefoot the entire time we stayed there. Definitely not a place you would want to have your kids at or go to for a romantic weekend.

I've stayed t the Covered Bridge a few years ago and had a good experience -- but it seems to be in a downward spiral now. There were multiple spots of Black Mold on the bathroom ceiling and cockroaches running around in the bathroom. There was one stained and worn chair in the room and two damaged lamps. It seems like much or most of the Covered Wagon's current business is providing shelter to unhoused individuals. This is not a problem in and of itself if they maintained the facility in a professional way. When I arrived there were abandoned Hannaford shopping carts by the exit doors. There were unmoved two days later. There are also sliding first floor windows with cut screens propped closed by canes and what looked like the kind of window security device sold in Wal-Mart. The halls smelled heavily of odor-covering fragrance, and the continental breakfast was dismal, with scant choices served in what seemed like a small maintenance room. The few cars in the parking lot seemed local and lived in. I felt really bad for these folks who have to live in this depressing mess long term. Many of them had disabilities. They seemed to be treated as storage items rather than patrons. On the positive side, my bed and bedding seemed clean, the pillows and bed were comfortable and the floor was vacuumed. I was there for two nights due to a power outage at the hotel where I was booked to stay. Also, I was blessed with not having to eat their "breakfast."

No. We chose to not even stay, and we have stayed some sketchy places. It was dirty and felt very unsafe. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nothing other than price. Place had cob webs, dirty bathroom, dirty floors. Is a homeless hotel. Lots of traffic all night long in back of building. Pretty sure drugs are a problem. Old camper someone us staying in. Someone had laundry hanging in trees. I will never stay again and most definitely not a place for children.

Free breakfast and only paid 277 for 3 nights 4 days which is amazing priced Smelt like cigarettes when you walked in but not in the room

Convenient to work...generally quiet and safe

This is not the place to take your family. There seemed to be many unsavory characters living there. Very run down. I would never go back or recommend. There is a reason the price is so low.

    I just left

Musty smelling, outdated, noisy ventilation system

Front desk person was nice, and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Plenty of hot water for shower. Air conditioner worked well. The room and the facilities are too old. No amount of cleaning will remove spots on sink and other areas in the room that are not dirt but light paint flecking away revealing darker paint beneath. The bathtub is too old to look clean. The carpet is too old to be cleaned of the smells trapped in it. There is not enough lighting in the room. The windows are dirty. I noticed some people's window screens (not mine) are torn with holes. It's just an unpleasant place to be in. I left after one night though I had booked 2 nights.

Nothing. We ended up leaving and booking a different hotel. The hotel was very dirty, there were pieces of wood in the windows to keep them from being opened. The screens were all torn out. There were sketchy people walking around. The whole place was very unsafe.

Absolutely worth this money A little smelly

Tranquille et personnel gentils. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon.

Aside from the keys, not working in the desk person making me wait 15 minutes before they would come create me another key and the homeless people in the hallway. The mattress was the absolute worst I’ve ever slept in in my life basically a cement board. Other than that, it is first choice for the homeless in the hallway

Overall experience was a waste of time and money and regret it and know I won’t be returning

    Convenient Price … Value

Great location, close to highway/food around town. Not the best smelling hotel. Good for a quick one night stay which was my case. Made sure to double check the locks.
