Travelodge by Wyndham Brattleboro VT

Smoke alarm randomly started beeping at 5am until around 6:15 got not apparent reason. I walked into main office to find nobody there I decided to pick customer phone at counter but got no response... Later at checkout counter assistant claimed that I never responded to his phone answer.... I'm deeply not satisfied.

3 days there with no room service

Good value for a short stay for a single traveler. I would not bring a family with kids here. Good location. Improvements were made to the room I was in and a few improvements also in the bathroom. Main room looked nicely updated and was clean, but the bathroom was not. Toilet seat was not even attached properly. The smell of smoke from outside (or maybe another room) permeated my room even with the windows closed. There was a lock missing on one of the windows. No breakfast of any kind offered. Just coffee and tea. With more improvements this could be a nice place for a longer stay. I think they are trying. They replaced the outdoor staircase to the second floor. I might give them another chance.

I just slept there from 12am to 6am, got up and left. it was fine!

Front desk clerk was professional and curious. Bed sheets were clean but toilet, floor, walls and counter were dirty. Not enough towels or wash clothes for 4 people.

First, the images of the site on the website are a bit deceptive. The property is run down and needs a lot of TLC. The office is messy and the check-in clerk was efficient, not necessarily personable, and was on his cell phone while checking me in. The room was fair. It had updated beds, mirror, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and TV. Definitely not cozy; rather very drab. Only 1 live TV channel and the volume didn't work on the smart TV. The AC didn't work and the window and sill that was right above the bed was pretty dirty. We checked for bed bugs and were relieved that the beds were clean and very comfortable. If you want a comparatively inexpensive place to lay your head and take a shower, this will do.

I was charged six times for the reservation. I need to get my money back.

rundown, dirty, needs a total overhaul or teardown,,,,,,way to expensive for the price,,,,many other places nearby that are much better.....

This is a well maintained budget hotel. The building is "classic" but the rooms have been updated.

This is a very well used motel. The bathrooms were very dirty with hair and fluids all over the floor and walls. The beds were clean. Will not stay again.

location no TV if it rains.

The building was in poor condition, the property surrounding was trashed and bedding/furniture everywhere outside as well. The walls are super thin and the door was so cracked between the building/frame, you could see outside!! Holes in the flooring, mold in the bathroom. The heating BARELY worked and when it did, it was so loud it kept you up! Then, it gets WAY better. The entire hotel was empty, lots of rooms available. What does the hotel do?! Put about 10 young kids in the rooms above and beside us. On top of the noisy heater, I could hear them so loud above and outside, it’s like I was there!!!! No sleep and a VERY sketchy place!!!!

I will definitely recommend to others.

The staff member who was there was incredibly kind, the parking situation was good, and there are a lot of signs about pets (no cats) so it seems dog friendly at least.

Close to Brattleboro and restaurants. Trash pickup and room service were non-existent. Trash bags were really small. They did put a roll of trash bags outside the office for us ?
