Courtyard by Marriott Bristol

The hotel itself was nice and was clean front staff was super friendly but the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!! To me this is the most important part of a hotel. I’m coming there to sleep not spend time hanging out in a room. The bed needs to be comfortable. Our bed was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever slept on. It was so bad I actually contemplated moving to the floor and sleeping on my yoga mat.

We loved the location and our room was nice. Our plan for this vacation was to spend time at the pool with our grandson. We wanted to just have a lazy, relaxing getaway to swim and rest, but after we checked in to our room. We decided to go grab dinner then come back to swim afterwards, on our way out we wanted to see the pool area.... thats when we seen the pool was drained! I went to the front desk where I was told their pool had been down since January! When I booked there was nothing about the pool being down... matter fact the pool is the whole reason we picked this hotel. I was informed that since I booked with booking.com I would have to deal with them if I wanted to cancel or refund but id be charged for the night regardless. We will not be back here.

Not applicable That we weren't notified that the pool and spa wouldn't be available at time of booking. That was a big reason we booked at this hotel.

Great location. Plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Shower head in our room was non adjustable and the water came out really hard. Preferable to low pressure any day !!! Had difficulty finding it through the GPS in car but managed.

It was a comfortable room for the value

I liked how clean, comfortable, and spacious the room was, how friendly and helpful the front desk staff was, how there was a restaurant in the hotel, the checkout time being later at 12pm, and the affordable price. I didn't like that I was advertised that there would be a pool and hot tub, but neither of those were available.

N/A When getting to my room and opening the door, hearing voices. The TV was on and that was a little disturbing. So I suggest on leaving it on. Also, the Starbucks closes early.

Room was very nice and clean. Staff was amazing. Overall a quiet and comfy stay.

Put a $100 hold on my debit and still haven’t released it after 3 business days of checking out.

The room overall was clean , the bathroom could use some maintenance from where they removed some things from the shower and around areas around glass partition at back of bath/shower could use a deeper cleaning ( mold buildup) . It wasn’t nasty just makes it look dirty. There were plenty of towels and stuff in the bathroom. Bed linens were nice and clean ( I’ve had bad experiences at other places, where they looked like they weren’t clean and had hair all over them) not here , they were crisp clean. Front deck ladies were very nice and helpful. Parking was easy and I was able to find spaces close to the front.

Not much No coffee in morning unless you paid.
