The staff was helpful and friendly!Great breakfast! Not too far from Little Italy

The staff was very nice however the room was not very clean. If it wasn’t so late upon check in, we would have changed rooms. Proximity to hospital is why we chose this location.

The room itself was clean as was the lobby area. The shower was spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel is right next to St Barnabas hospital and ambulatory care, so it was a bit noisy though it is the city. The sidewalks and streets were dirty in the area, but we felt safe enough walking about a quarter of a mile to Little Italy.

I wonder whether our room was actually supposed to be a guest room. The hotel room was about 10 foot by 10 foot. No closet, just tall cabinets. The bathroom was about 2/3 the size of the hotel room. It felt unprotected. People who were just hanging out on the street came in and out of the lobby with impunity. Some sat in the lobby for a while, chatted with staff. At breakfast one morning, the desk clerk stood in the doorway, keeping the automatic door open while she vaped. Graffiti in white spray paint remained on the front windows during our entire stay. It is clear that ownership is "cash-flowing" this property until the neighboring hospital buys it up. A legitimate business plan, but bad news for those of us who might stay there.

A really good experience, the room was great, bed SUPER comfy and the breakfast facilities were great. Staff were VERY helpful too.

Overall our stay was amazing. The only complaint which is really not too big of a deal is that the laundry lock off time was rather early.

The hotel has no parking or area for unloading luggage, I had to double-park on the street to unload my car. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned before I checked in. There were food scraps on the chair. The shower water pressure was so low that I had trouble washing my hair. Water pooled in the shower during my first use. There was a nightstand on only one side of the bed. During my two-night stay, there were several incidents of guests shouting in the hotel hallways throughout the night until 4-5am making it difficult to sleep

My only complain is that we wouldn’t get daily service such as new towels and trashing out daily. Out of the 5 nights it was only done once even though I asked everyday.
