Great hotel with big rooms, for Minneapolis good prices as well. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast for American standards great! The rain made the car feel very far away.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. What I didn't like was breakfast. Check expired foods, had an omelet made and cheese didn't taste right at all nor did the milk. Expected more like other Embassys I've stayed at.

We arrived at 2pm, had to pull reception person from their cell phone. was told they do not do check ins until 230. We waited around and the receptionist offered to check us in at 220. The room and building seem ok if slightly aged. The light was out in the bathroom-not sure how cleaning staff missed it. It was promptly replaced. There was no hot water in the room throughout the stay. Had to take slightly warmer than cold water showers.

Rooms were clean as was the property. Food and beverage were good.

The property was fantastic and we were given a really awesome king suite. However, we had a tough check-in experience, where the doors were locked after midnight and we arrived after a concert and had to ring the doorbell three times and knock on the glass doors before someone in the lobby came to let us in, then took over 15 minutes to check us in. The walls apparently are also quite thin, as we could hear noise from other guests in neighboring rooms all night long. Would consider staying here again since the property was really nice but was disappointed by the customer service experience here this time.

Exceptional

Breakfast was late, did not start until 7:30. Nothing in the room was refreshed and we were staying multiple days with 6 people in the room. Garbage could have been emptied and coffee supplies added. Had to ask for fresh towels.

Break fast, kitchen staff My stay was disappointing. When checking in, the staff was rude and unprofessional. They claimed there were no available rooms because I booked through a third-party company and advised me to call to get my money back. I explained I was from out of state and had nowhere else to go. They seemed to intimidate me, as if I was trespassing. Eventually, I was offered a different room, but it was hot, and the AC didn't work properly. I reported this, but nothing was done. The worst part was that there was no room service for cleaning or trash removal; they told me they don't offer cleaning services.

The overall rating is probably a 3.5. Everything is pretty good for this area regarding the outside property and inside the property. It’s really just what I’ve been exposed to elsewhere that it seems like it’s down a bit. For example the Staff didn’t always have a smile on their face and were not so eager to help. This breakfast was not one of my favorites experienced at an Embassy suites. The bottom line is it is a really good hotel, it is just not the best of Embassy suites I’ve ever stayed at. But considering the area in Minneapolis and the price it is about a 3 1/2 star hotel, and you’ll get what you pay for.

Clean room

I was given vouchers to spend at the bar but it became unavailable. I also saw some visible wear and tear on the furniture in the lounge area in the front room of the hotel . But it was a great experience.
