Everhome Suites Brownsville

When I checked in, I was informed that the elevators were out and they had me on the 3rd floor. I asked if there would be a discount due to this and I was told NO. Due to time, I took the room and carried my heavy suite case up 3 flights of stairs. Seems like the room should have discounted or offer me another stay with a discount. Unprofessional!!

The property is new and well kept. The room was pretty nice, with full refrigerator. The shower could have used a little more love from the cleaning staff, but after doing a rinse off it was all good. The only super minor issue was the provided soap and shampoo is pretty rough. I went over to Walmart and picks up some travel size and all was well.

The area is nice and the ppl are friendly . The room was clean WAYYY SMALLER then the site looks but it was nice and clean. The air was hard to work . The front desk lady with long and glasses was not real friendly who wouldn’t let me do early check in but wanted me to pay before check in ? CRAZY HUH? Jazmin the front staff was nice and friendly she came to the room to fix the TV which was missing 20 channels . THE Elevator BROKE DOWN day 2 of 3 night 4 day stay. Walked three flights of stairs with THREE kids and bags back and forth for 3 days! IVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE && it never got fixed !!!! So inconvenient. Over all I give the stay a 6/10 due to the elevators but it was clean & comfortable!!

A place that looked brand new. Everything was super clean and tidy. The only thing that could have been better were the mattresses. I give them a perfect score. They also had a self-service shop which was great.

Friendly staff and the room we stayed in had a kitchenette which was clean and had basic necessities to cook with a full sized refrigerator. The only curious thing was the wi-fi...our phones had poor service and when we tried watching TV and kept getting the "not connected to network" on the screen and the QR code to scan sent us to another screen to pay $1 per device and there was another option available. Since we were on a quick trip it was fine we didnt use the TV but this is an FYI to others that may have littles that want to use the TV, have tablets and any other devices for entertainment.

Nice place.

I had no hot water despite calling and informing them of the issue. I had to boil hot water ..I was sick and too tired to rebook elsewhere. The issue was not addressed until I checked out. Only one representative attempted to assist me.

Friendly staff

The check in was fine except was charged a pet fee....we travel 20 days a month in hotels....we have a esa dachshund that travels with us for last 2 years....never had a problem with waiving the fee...except for Everhome Suites....we would have gone to another hotel but made the mistake of pre paying for room...so for additional 70 bucks we stayed. Hotel is nice but very very thin walls....and small rooms

This stay has definitely taught me to check the hotel for damages. We were accused and charged 1000 for a tear in a couch that was there when we arrived.

Hotels smells awful all the time. Extremely loud because of the hard floors so don’t bother sleeping. Don’t give out towels unless you take them to the front yourself, black long hair all over the room (I’m blonde) overall not a great stay and front desk doesn’t care.

Hair was found on the floor and the bed as well. Unsanitary conditions were deemed unacceptable.

Nice

Overall this was a very pleasant stay and good value. My single room was large enough to accommodate visits with the 5 other family members who stayed in other rooms or locations. The shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were amazing The room was clean. The staff were pleasant and responsive. The TV supported my streaming services. The fridge and freezer had plenty of room, and the ice maker was nice. The in-room coffee maker was K-cup style, so not as nice IMO as regular drip coffee, but better than the soft pods in so many hotels. The only issues were a couple of incidences of slightly brown water coming from the tap (so bring drinking water), and the stove was very under powered. The highest setting was the same as low (2 out of 10) on my home stove. The microwave and toaster worked perfectly well.

The only thing we did not like, the fact we had to pay for regular housekeeping even though we stayed 7 days.
