SureStay Hotel by Best Western Brownsville

It was an okay stay at this property.

We were so ready for a pool after an 8 hour drive. It wasn't open. They said we could go to the nearby Holiday Inn but my wife was over it. Strait to the shower. There are lots of restaurants nearby. It's a safe place from my perspective.

Ultimately, the place was clean, obviously as pretty old the amenities were not available. A pool was not in good condition to use for our second day. Our restroom was not clean properly and honestly I don’t think we use. We will use this hotel again. In another note, I still have not received my deposit back and it’s almost a week.

The stay was okay, but it definitely had some pros and cons. On the positive side, our room was clean upon arrival, and the room service staff did a fine job with daily basics like making the bed and emptying the trash. However, the rest of the property needed more attention. The pool area wasn't clean enough to use, and there was a noticeable musty smell throughout the hallways. The continental breakfast was also hit or miss, they frequently ran out of waffle mix and yogurt, meaning we had to ask staff to restock items and grab plates. Overall, it's a decent, functional place to sleep, but the upkeep and amenities could be improved.

Clean room

I planned to use the amenities advertised, such as the pool. Unfortunately it had a chain lock and not available for its tenants. I planned to chill at this place all weekend and had to resort to just stay indoors. At late night, both nights, there were people, children running in the hallways while I was trying to sleep. Unexceptable.

Once i walked in i noticed that the bed sheets were stained and the restroom sink was leaking water through the pipes.

We had an amazing stay while here for a few days! Thank you so much for everything.

Room seemed to be clean, we were there for only a few hrs and missed breakfast but I believe price was decent for the place.

A small hotel with friendly staff. The room was on the first floor. It was clean, and I couldn't hear any noise coming from the parking lot. I wish they could offer more options for TV channels. I couldn't enjoy watching a good show over my weekend stay.

Nice and very clean

Decent enough to stay but could be cleaner and the room smelled funky

Everything was great, couldn’t have used a bit more on the breakfast menu.

To start off, I had a non-working blow dryer. The lights in my room were constantly flickering. Which led me to sit in the dark most of the time. I also only used 2/3 nights and was even let know I would NOT be receiving a refund for the night I didn’t stay. I even left within 24 hours of the night I expected a refund for. I also didn’t appreciate the breakfast. It was waffles and cereal. Nothing else. I asked for a callback from the manager on duty. Which I never got. Wouldn’t waste your money or time with this place. They don’t care.

It was very loud throughout out stay

The Window didn’t have any curtains.

The hotel is spacious and clean no issues at all. Breakfast could be better.

The staff was amazing very nice and the rooms were very clean
