Garden Place Hotel

Clean and comfortable. The shuttle to and fro the airport was very helpful.

The staff was lovely during our stay. Very kind and welcoming. It was a perfect overall. There was so obvious wear and tear in the room but it's about what I would expect for an older building. Sadly, the breakfast was pretty disappointing. Would definitely book again though!!

The room was great! Awesome price for a suite with a jacuzzi! The property was under construction, and even the parts that were finished weren’t done very well. The place looks great from the road, but up close it’s not been done very well. When we got to the front desk, it took about half an hour for somebody to come and check us in. The breakfast wasn’t great either.

Disappointing

This is a unique property - the atmosphere in the lobby and throughout the hallways was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very dated and could use a facelift, but it was fine for what we needed.

Friendly staff Bare minimum of the room. It was a suite and the fridge was on the floor.

Nice outside façade. Breakfast okay, issues were that we were not allowed to check until after check in time. Room broken faucet. Walls thin. I had to go tell next door to stop playing music loudly and singing at 1:30 am. No sleep, tell staff it’s okay to smile when someone says hello. The front desk girl did her best to accommodate us, but I was not happy that the rooms were not available when scheduled. Again with the walls being thin, the night was miserable. Since this hotel charges staying past checkout time, I think we should receive a discount since rooms were not ready at check-in time.

The building and lobby are charming with Elvis 1970's details which are fun.

The house keeping staff kept our room spotless! Needs a bit of TLC AROUND THE CAMPUS! However our specific room was spotless due to excellent accommodating staff!

The beds were also not horribly comfortable so while it wasn't a terrible stay I would not book this place again.

Breakfast was very limited and the bagels smelled stale. The coffee, if you could manage get some before it ran out, wasn’t half bad. The “hot” portion of the meal was a plate with a pancake sitting on the counter by the microwave covered with plastic wrap. Milk provided for the cereal was served out of a gallon size container, nothing individual. There was no juice offerings. Save your money and go anywhere else.

I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel. The rooms are very old and outdated. I couldn’t sleep because of the fear of bed bugs as it didn’t look clean. Sheets were all crumpled and towels were old. Bathroom shower area didn’t have drain cover so my daughter was scared to shower if some insects would crawl out. We were so disappointed and regret to book our stay there. For peace of mind please book elsewhere.

I was only there approx 8 hrs and my room was clean and comfortable. I was catching a flight early in morning....I was sad to miss out on breakfast. I would have appreciated some fruit or something in lue of getting a free breakfast. Miss out on free breakfast

hallway to get to room torn apart, the wallpaper peeling with what looks like mold & water damage. bed stained, bathroom dirty. walls all chipped up. asked for sheets & blankets for the pullout couch & was offered “two sheets” eventually ended up getting a blanket after a wait & walk back down to the lobby. off smelling stench in the room…. sauna not working when attempted to use.
