Garden Place Hotel

The room was nice and I loved the tub, the bed was soft When I took a shower there was black stuff all on the ceiling and the door pad to come in the hotel was broken so anyone could come into the hotel through it

I had to change rooms because there was a hole in the netted tub. The WiFi doesn’t work well so I have to leave my room to go downstairs to use my phone. There was a crackhead outside that was naked getting in and out of a car that they clearly live in. I do t be staying here again. The staff was nice though.

Hotel and room were clean. Staff and management were friendly and helpful. While breakfast was similar to other hotels, the dining area is very nice and unique, unlike many other hotels. That makes the breakfast more enjoyable.

The rooms was decent, the A/C did not work properly. And a few jets in the hot tub were not working properly. The location was perfect for travel and entertainment.

First let me say the staff is great. We had an issue and it was looked after by Darnell immediately. He’s definitely an asset to this hotel. The rooms were clean but need some upgrades but it looks like that is happening. Very much enjoyed the breakfast. Only downfall was that the Drinks at the bar are ridiculously overpriced. The shuttle is also not reliable so would probably use Uber for a flight. Overall it was an enjoyable time and would definitely stay here again

Now, I didn't give this 5 stars because it is absolutely not a 5 star hotel. It's really more of a 3 star hotel in my opinion as someone who travels a lot, but the historical character and vintage italy feeling along with fantastic guest services, a decent breakfast and charming food court where you can have your breakfast, sit and read a book, open a bottle of wine and feel like you've been transported in time is worth the extra star. Also fee parking and Wifi. I did not use the gym and I don't believe they have a pool. The bed was comfortable, room mostly clean / outdated with a couple issues like leaky toilet and such.

Everything around it was located conveniently I could have had a working shower in my first room either one of the jacuzzi tubs could have been cleaned out first when I brought issues to staff they had no idea how to fix it

Don’t make the mistake of booking this location. Dirty, dated and very questionable activities taking place.

Bed and pillows were awful hotel has made some upgrades to the overall appearance since last time worked for 1 night on short notice / staff was pleasant and helpful

Ripped carpet, stains on the wall and furniture. They are not keeping the maintenance up.

The scent of cigar and moldy used hot tub

This property is in desperate need of updating and some basic attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Surprisingly, the one bright spot was that our bed was clean, which, quite frankly, was not something we expected after seeing the condition of the building and our room upon arrival. The carpets in the hallways leading to our room had several large, noticeable stains. Inside the room, it looked as though someone had ripped out the molding and simply never bothered to finish the job. We were left with exposed, unpainted walls where the molding had previously been, with the carpet running right up to them. To add to the experience, the mirror in our room had drywall mud and splatter all over it, the shower curtain had a hole in it, and we had to request hand soap because none was provided in the bathroom. Perhaps most concerning was the apparent lack of cleaning. We noticed several screws and miscellaneous pieces of debris scattered across the floor, making it pretty obvious that the room had not been properly vacuumed before our arrival. The entire experience gave us the impression that basic upkeep, maintenance, and attention to detail simply aren't priorities at this property. While we were grateful to have a clean bed, that alone isn't enough to make up for the overall condition of the property. We very likely will not stay here again and would choose alternative accommodations in the future, regardless of the price dif

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is good. The room and hotel was still under construction. Our room had drywall dust on the floor and all the surfaces. The unshaded was damaged, no blanket on one of the beds, screws in the floor. The staff was not very apologetic and there was no manager on duty for our entire two day stay to discuss the issues with.

The whole 2nd floor was being renovated unbeknownst to us prior to arrival. Our room a suite looked like it was half done. Furniture had missing pieces of wood, wood floor had paint marks all over it. They out 2 towels in the room for 3 people and when asked they said housekeeping doesn’t come in til 9am. They don’t have anything on website about renovations and we even saw people whose reservations were canceled but never notified.

The outside and main area are very deceiving. Looks like it is going to be a very nice place to stay, with a beautiful fountain in the front and a well kept and fancy lobby. But beyond that the place is a bit of a mess. The room smelled like a combo of cigarettes and perfume. I was given a room on the 3rd floor. But the elevator for the third floor is at the very end of the hall, and then my room was the very last door all the way back on the other side of the hotel. This was frustrating moreso due to the fact that I was locked out of my room 3 times because my key card stopped working. Had to walk all the way back down to get them to fix it. One time they said they fixed it and I walked all the way back for it to still not work.. then when I got back to the desk they told me they sent someone up with a master key to meet me. The bathroom fan sounded like something was about to take off. I always bring my own pillowcase, and when I went to change it out, the actual pillow was stained yellow. The do not disturb button on the door did not work, so I was woken up between 7 and 8am by housekeeping. Then again between 9 and 10am. Hottub took a half hour to fill up, the hot a cold knobs were either broken or poorly designed to keep spinning with no clear on or off. Had to find the perfect spot to get the water to stop constantly dripping out. Breakfast was nice and the staff did their best. However, the hotel overall was terrible. I would not stay there again.

We came for our wedding night. Very disappointed for the price of the room. We stayed in room 276. The A/C barely worked, we couldn't walk barefoot as the floor was dirty. We filled the hot tub and noticed A LOT of hair and other things floating, we had to clean it out ourselves in order to use it, the dimming light over the hot tub did not dim, it was either bright light or no light, and the king bed seemed broken in the middle, it sagged quite a bit, very uncomfortable and difficult to get back out of the bed, I was glad to get back to my own bed (which I thought was uncomfortable prior to this experience). The complimentary breakfast was just white scrambled eggs and sausage which we didn't eat as my husband cannot eat eggs. Overall very unimpressed and dissatisfied. Not a great experience for our wedding night

The facilities and room were clean, and the cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. From the very start the experience was unwelcoming. - The front sliding main entrance door was broken and only opened halfway for the entirety of my stay. - The Front desk staff not at all welcoming. One guy watching a movie with the volume turned up (unprofessional) and the woman who checked me in was not friendly or glad to see me as a customer. - The HVAC unit in the room had a squeaky bearing. It did eventually quiet down. - The electric outlets in the center console between the beds did not work at all. - The Guest WiFi showed up on devices but would not connect (no IP address was assigned) - The pictures in the room were upside down (that could be a prank, but they were screwed to the wall). The breakfast was very mediocre. - The room was very noisy, but I think that was just because my room was right next to the road, and there is a stop light right at the property. The other room further away were probably much quieter.
