La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buffalo Amherst

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly. I even needed milk for my toddler one night and they kindly ran to the breakfast area and grabbed some for me.

Great stay

The sheets were clean, but the floor was disgusting. I couldn’t take my shoes off because there was something sticky on the carpet wherever I walked… The dresser where the refrigerator was kept was water damaged and had mold growing out of it… The bathroom was clean for the most part. Person at the front Check me in, appeared very disinterested and seemed put out to be checking me in. Definitely would not recommend this place to another.

From the second we arrived LATE to the hotel, the staff was perfect! The grounds are well maintained and the inside beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and bedding. The pool was great. We loved the ACTUAL BREAKFAST! It was fantastic! Extremely clean and very well stocked. I highly recommend!!

Everything was phenomenal!

Sink faucet was loose shower stall needs uplifting. A/C didn’t seem to cool well. Breakfast was not good. Eggs and sausage had no flavor. You just need to check everything and fix things well to make it really presentable. Breakfast is very important. Find out how to present a very tasty breakfast. Greet the guests and see if they need anything. Manager was very helpful.

The service was highly satisfactory

I was booked for 2 nights. On the second day someone opened the door with their keys. The staff had assigned the room to another person while we were already booked there. Their system shows the room as empty! while the room was clean there was only one towel. its very mismanaged.

It smelled clean upon arrival. What I didn’t like is they seemed to come around at 7 or 8 at night to exchange towels. Normally rooms are cleaned before 3. Checked in on Tuesday & had to ask for sheets to be changed on Friday! I understand trying to be more eco friendly & doing these things every other day. Our trash didn’t even get emptied until we asked. Desk clerks were nice but they are lacking in the making you comfortable aspect. Other negative is bathroom lighting,not sure how’s woman is supposed to put on make up in that dim lighting. But that was the builder, not the staff.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but it was not refilled as freshly and not wiped down as often as I’m used to at other hotels. But overall it was good.

Great temp control in the room, convenient and hearty breakfast, great for dogs, excellently located near shopping and groceries.

Every stay has been excellent. That’s why LQ is my choice.

Room looked almost brand new. Only complaint is bed is really high and hard for a short person like myself and the room darkening curtains blocked no sunlight out.

The hotel breakfast was terrible, the waffle mix was watered down so it was to thin to make a waffle. They came out partially cooked and only half the waflfle. The guy in front of me left his cup feom his waffle mix behind and the hotel staff came and yelled at me to clean up the mess. She actually picked up the cup and set it next to me telling me to clean it up when it was not mine. I thought I booked a good hotel because the reviews were decent but I would not count on the sofa bed for anyone to sleep on if planning foe a 5th person and plan to eat elsewhere. I wish I would of spent my money elsewhere, it was not an enjoyable stay at all.
