We booked a room with two queen beds but were given a king room with a sofa bed/rollaway instead. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we weren't provided enough blankets to sleep comfortably. More importantly, the hotel apparently knew our reserved room type was unavailable but did not inform us until we arrived, leaving us with very limited options. At check-in, I asked about a refund or price adjustment since we weren't receiving what we booked and was told they would work something out. The next morning, when I followed up, I was instead told that we had paid a substantially lower rate because we booked through Expedia. Regardless of the booking platform or rate, I believe guests should receive the room they reserved or a reasonable adjustment when the hotel cannot provide it. I wasn't asking for a free stay—only to pay appropriately for what was actually provided. I then contacted Expedia, and they handled the situation professionally and gracefully. After hearing what happened, they stepped in and worked with the hotel's front desk toward a resolution. Room availability issues can happen. Better communication, advance notice, and fair handling would have made this a very different experience. I greatly appreciate Expedia's support in resolving the issue.

Because of 'plumbing issues' (that were not obvious, and likely code for overbooking) they gave us a smaller room than we had reserved. They kindly gave us bedding to sleep on the floor of the suite we got. I'll be avoiding this hotel chain in the future.

We had a awsome stay at Home2 suites. It was clean, spacious and the staff were very kind and helpful. They also provide one of the nicest breakfast bars we have seen. We will be booking our stay there for next as well.

Also - can hotels stop doing barn doors on bathrooms. Just give us privacy! Speaking off bathroom has glass shower so you can’t even let family members into use washrooms while you are showering, Bring back shower curtains and closing doors to bathrooms.

have stayed at this particular location several times now because we absolutely love the hotel and staff, amenities are great, and my wife and I think the coffee is the best there is

Convenient

Loved having our own kitchen and the spacious rooms!

We came into town for a family reunion and the location and facilities were very good for my family -2 adult sons, daughters in laws, three grandchildren 6-8-14. Rooms were accomodating, refrigerators were convenient for snacks and towels were plentiful. It works well for a family.

Nice stay, loved the free laundry.

We thought the room was comfortable and fit all 5 of us. Breakfast was pretty standard but worked for us and we all slept good and felt safe and comfortable.

Overall room was clean and location is very nice. Breakfast was decent but things ran out quickly probably due to lots of guest as it was long weekend. Breakfast person was working constantly but it was not fast enough. Beside some glitch at breakfast, everything was good.

Clean room, friendly staff

This was a first for us. We arrived a little before midnight to find that we did not have a current reservation. The gal at the counter worked very hard to find us a room and apologized profusely. If that was the only issue-we would have been ok, but then we wake up to find we were charged for the reservation “we didn’t have” a no show fee and also charged for the room we stayed in. When we questioned what happened we were told that someone the day before cancelled our reservation around 5pm…thinking we were not coming. The hotel is insisting that the incorrect charge will come off and we will only be charged to the card we put in file at the front desk. This was a definite buzz kill. Feel wired.

we supposed to check in at 3 but they allocated the room at 4pm. My entire trip schedule was disturbed due to this. staff at reception was not treating the customers well. They are very rude and many others were fighting with them.

The staff was great and the room was great. I loved the kitchen in my room definitely was put to use. Breakfast was okay.
