The Richardson Hotel

The history of the building is amazing and the rooms were great! Beds and pillows were so very comfy!

Wonderful designed rooms, lots of hooks and places to hang clothes, great bed, good parking.. Loved the museum in basement, the tall ceilings, the long hallways, how it was furnished and restored, and everything about the history. You need more help in the dining room—very crazy, server trying to handle too many customers for the one meal we had (dinner). That meal could have been better.

The staff was helpful, and the location was great. That said, I'd like to see continued care and investment in the parts of the property that were already renovated.

when it came to room service our room was ignored, we told the front desk about this at one p.m., then we called about four p.m., then i took our dirty towels to the lobby myself. this got us fresh towels but, no water, nor coffee. we were somewhat disappointed by this.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Jessica and Bennie were so attentive and welcoming. The hotel was spotless, beautiful, and full of history, and the service was truly 10/10. I only wish we could have stayed longer! One night wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this lovely hotel.

Was an overall nice stay . Was just a little confusing being our first time there in getting around the halls and taking the elevators to the right area . We are hoping to go back someday to take the tour

Very cool building! Rooms small but comfortable. Gym equipment was not functional...I tried 4 machines and settled on a bike that did not squeak. But overall neat place with friendly staff!

The Richardson is a truly unique and interesting place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and the architecture of the buildings are stunning. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again without hesitation

Gorgeous, comfortable, clean, & quiet.

Loved the grand charm of this historic hotel, newly renovated. Enjoyed the architecture and history display on the ground floor. Restaurant very nice food. Water and coffee in foyer were very welcoming. Loved it all. Shower curtain was a bit short, so water splashed easily on the floor. A grab rail to assist in and out of the bath would be useful for safety.

Such a beautiful and interesting property! Wonderful conversion and piece of history. So glad we stayed here instead of some boring alternative.

Only complaint is there wasn’t a fridge in the room, and housekeeping only comes around once a day.

This hotel is in a beautifully restored and updated historic landmark building. The rooms are very well-appointed with quality furnishings. Restaurant and staff are excellent, and it's in a great location with nice shops and restaurants nearby. We wish we had time to enjoy the grounds, which were designed by Olmstead. If I need to overnight in Buffalo anytime soon, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
