The property was very unique. I love the architecture of the building, but it did not have the amenities that you're used to at a hotel.
-
Fascinating conversion of building and repurposing. The bar was exceptional. The room was average. Location was somewhat sketchy but safe.

dusty room no hand soap🗿 breakfast is not included, we bought it and it was terrible(the food is terrible and the service was soo poor) i called stuff and asked if they could bring me 2 forks and they answered we have them downstairs, so i had to go and search for forks by myself wearing my pajamas the room is very small and we could find where to charge our phones because almost every charger was broken.

Hotel was very beautiful and beds were very comfortable.

We had the best nights sleep, so comfortable. You have to sign up for the Sunday history tour! We were in town for a wedding but ended up loving the tour the most. Breakfast was delicious, and just the overall stay was incredible.

The hotels location is close to Delaware Park, the Martin (Frank Lloyd Wright) house, and great shopping and restaurants.

This hotel has so much character and the staff are so accommodating. Highly recommend!

Quiet spacious rooms.

A beautiful hotel and a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were spacious, and the on-site lounge was excellent. However, the room was not as clean as I would have expected, as there were a few hairs left on various surfaces. Additionally, the shower drain appeared not to have been checked before our stay, causing the shower to back up and flood the bathroom.

As a female solo traveler I would not recommend this hotel, and would not stay here again. Although the hotel itself was OK, the roads leading to the hotel, and the buildings surrounding the hotel are less than desirable. The parking lot seemed to be dimly lit, considering the area. Honestly I felt uneasy in my comings and goings from the hotel. Even entering the hotel lobby is uncomfortable, as you enter on a lower level, and the lobby is on the 2nd floor, which you either have to walk up a staircase and/or take an elevator, which is not readily available as you enter the building. The building does have a unusual odor as soon as you enter it, and I was unable to pinpoint just exactly what the that odor was. The bar inside the hotel is quaint, however, the bartender definitely needs some practice on making simple common bar drinks. The actual hotel room for a solo traveler was OK, however, the bathroom mirror did have a TV in it, but per the front desk it was never hooked up, so it does not work. With so many other hotels in Buffalo area, this one is a "no go" for me.

Nothing

I only give The Richardson a 4 star review because the room didn't have a mini fridge. The staff were fantastic, the common areas and rooms were very clean and it's located in a quiet area.

拥有一百五十四年历史的建筑,像是住进了博物馆,非常安静、舒适。下次再住这家酒店。100%推荐。
-
The breakfast was a disappointment. Oatmeal was not hot, omelet was bland, and the staff seemed a bit taxed even though there were only 4 tables of guests
-
Nice and clean rooms. Food at breakfast was mediocre at best.
-
The building was unique and the history was very interesting. The carpet had large gross stains. The door was difficult to open and close. The master light switch did not work. There was dust on the Kleenex box and the coffee maker. The gym had a horrible smell and I had instant nausea when I went into the gym.

Clean rooms, little less space but manageable

Good clean room

Have stayed here in the past and things have changed, not for the better. We chose to come back because we liked the relaxed atmosphere of the bar and the good restaurant. There is no longer a restaurant, the bar is playing loud music, and the vibe is more of a happy hour place than I quieter place for travelers. The food offerings were not good. Looking around people left their food barely touched. There are no gluten free options. There is only one person behind the bar and she seemed overwhelmed and was very loud. The rooms and history of the hotel is so cool. But we had to order food from DoorDash and couldn’t stay long in the bar due to the noise. Very disappointed because it was a really cool place.

I absolutely loved and would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has college kids it’s right across from Buffalo State University. 👍👍👍👍
