Excellent hotel for the price. It’s quiet and very well Done. Off street parking would have been nice, but the parking was not an issue.

Location excellent. Decor was so pretty and fun. Amenities like water cooler and relaxing space was very appreciated! Bed was a little soft for my taste.

Location was convenient. A 10-minute walk to Elmwood Avenue, which has many restaurants, shops, and markets. Staff was responsive to requests. We were expecting a hotel with restaurant, bar, and elevator. This is a “boutique “ hotel, which apparently means it has none of those things. We arrived after a long tiring day to find that we had to schlep our bags up to the second floor and go out to find supper. This is a converted home. Rooms are well appointed. There is tea and coffee service in a lounge with a few snacks. Once you know what it is, it’s fine.

Really lovely property with beautiful rooms in Buffalo's nicest neighborhood. Customers should know; however, that there are no staff on premises for service. The employees do provide excellent service via phone with restaurant recommendations et cetera. If you are comfortable with this type of set-up, I highly recommend The Edward for privacy, location, free convenient parking and beautiful rooms.

Liked the different room styles.

Beautiful small boutique hotel. Our Room -The Madison has elevated decoration and function. Very safe neighborhood and many walkable restaurants nearby. Loved the keycode entry. Not really a negative-Entry door had some small stone steps and I tripped entering and also another guest observed doing the same. (Maybe due to uneven height). May benefit from some small safety markings.

Always a wonderful place to stay when we're on Buffalo. Clean and quiet. Easy to find parking if the their lot is full.

Overall we had a nice stay. The location is great for walking into Elmwood Village. The property is not clearly labeled and we struggled to identify which building the hotel was located in. We appreciated the very easy check-in process, and we took advantage of the snacks in the lobby. Unfortunately the walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbors both from within our room and when walking through the hallway. The water pressure in the shower was not very strong. Otherwise everything was satisfactory.

The rooms were comfortable, bed was comfortable. Could text the attendent and would receive a prompt response. The area around the hotel was very nice, Location was convient for the reason of our visit, with great resturant down the street. Would stay here again. Wished there was a regular chair in the room instead of the 2 high top chairs. The refigerate is behind a closed door, to help with ventalation for the frig might want to consider vents in the door or on the side of the cabinet, and need to wipe down the inside of the cabinet because it was always warm when opened to cabinet to access the frig-this did not affect our stay, but the longevity of the frig it might.

Easy to find. Central location. Free parking. Shower took a very long time to get warm. Toilet was running the entire time.
-
Great room, great location. Picked venue as it was a five minute walk to our event. Worked a charm.

I liked the building itself. It was nicely updated. The fact it was unmanned was positive and negative. The staff were in good communication but it also almost seemed like we were the only ones staying at the hotel.
-
Loved staying in this unique hotel. Room was comfortable and pleasant. Delightful walk in the morning to a breakfast spot through a pretty neighborhood.
