clean, quiet, comfortable room, good location paint on one wall could use a touch up

Nice looking inside Limited onsite parking, wall plug on right side of bed was loose to plug in CPAP Machine, no shower curtain. Water from showering splashed all over the bathroom floor leaving puddles. Sink faucet handles when turned at the sink were filthy, room above ours was noisy with person walking. Noise from ceiling. Late at night, I was awoken and did not get a very good nights sleep. Outside door did not lock quick enough after putting in code and entering or leaving. Could be a security issue. Inside room doors were great. On the plus side, we were notified by a phone call that we had left a personal item in the room. We would not return to spend a night in the future.

The Edward is clean, comfortable and located in an historic building in a tree lined neighborhood. Self check-in was easier than I expected. The staff issues instructions via text. The communications were clear, complete & prompt. I was pleased that guest toothbrushes were provided because I lost my toothbrush somewhere.

The property is run more like a rental property than a hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was large- light sleepers should stay on top floor- footsteps above were heard at all hours. Communication with the manager was via text and reasonably easy. There was one weird communication issue: They thought we checked out because they saw us walk out with our luggage on the surveillance camera! Upon returning at 930am, they were in process of completely turning over our room- making it virtually unusable. The tone of communication shifted pretty quickly after this, when it could have been smoothed over with an apology. The place is clean but I would compare pricing with a rental rather than a hotel.

The room was really nice. The location

The home itself, the architecture, the decor and the quality of room amenities are wonderful. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Like the eclectic furnishings and design. Could use some maintenance - Carpets, Some peeling paint, and minor repairs.

Beautifully decorated. Comfy king sized bed with extra pillows. Great communication and easy parking The neighborhoods on the drive through were a little scary. The neighborhood itself is questionable.

Room had a very musty smell.

Beautiful restored mini mansion close to Elmwood Village, art gallery, Delaware Park. Gorgeous curated rooms! I stayed in the Green Suite and I will be staying again next time I’m in Buffalo.

Staff were 'on line only' from providing digital entrance lock codes' to ensuring that we were in the hotel and settled. They were very professional online, thoughtful and thorough. They were also helpful in providing suggestions for local dineries.

Self check in was a breeze. The hotel is very nondescript from the outside but beautiful once you get inside. The wall paper on the stairs reminded me of Suspiria. The large room was decorated in a fun, over the top sort of way. The bed was super comfortable and the room darkened enough to not wake at first light. The shower was large and tastefully designed....and having creamers for the coffee in the room was a great touch. Parking was appreciated but not assigned and I did get the last spot. I loved being walkable to Forest Lawn. The only reason I knocked it a star is the checkout. 10 am check out felt a bit like rushing the guest to leave. Standard is 11 most hotels (I travel a lot).

Beautiful hotel. Clean common areas and room with a very comfortable bed. Charming walkable neighbourhood with lovely homes and good food. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location was ideal for a weekend visit to Buffalo. Liked the quiet atmosphere and comfortable public areas. Enjoyed the art in the hallways, the public areas and in our room.

Clean and Cozy place Maybe a letter or something to see in the street and see where are you guys would be a good idea.

It was beautiful and in a great location. The outside looked a bit run down.

Beautiful fancy decor and jet tub was a great addition. The cost was very afordable aswell. Bed was extremly comfy and pillows where firm but soft! Plenty of parking and great size room! The 1 knob on the tub came off as well as the shower knob. There was a moldy thing on the bottom skirt of the bed. There was 0 extra towels. They said none till checkout time the next day. The tub also had tape over a hole where something fell off.

Exceptional

Unique, clean No elevator listed we 70 needed help. No personal on site to check in or out. Hot water took 5 minutes to get warm. No chair at desk. Bathroom so small no place to put toiletries

Beautiful old building that has been charmingly restored. We stayed in the Deco room and found it comfortable and nicely finished. The hallway mural is fantastic, and the grand old home was quiet and clean. Love the Elmwood village neighborhood behind it, great spot for a few nights
