Sonesta ES Suites Burlington VT

The staffs were super helpful getting extra pillows or a hairdryer. However the swimming pool water was cold. That I didn't like.

I do not recommend staying here. It is dirty and smells terrible

The bed was excellent. The AC in my room was excellent but it seemed my thermostat was not actually the thing controlling the temperature. On the grounds of the property, trash was not picked up often. The carpet was stained and tub showed aging. The included breakfast was awful. I'd rather have only coffee in the room with a slightly lower price.

This appears to be an apartment complex where units are now rented as needed, rather than say monthly or leased. My unit was perfectly adequate…it needed some maintenance and TLC but it was clean, the complex was quiet, and the staff was nice. All good for an overnight stay

Shower curtain rod falling down. Properrty upkeep really bad. Trash outside. People hanging around that may or may not have been staying at hotel.

The rooms were wonderful, size cleanliness, Value. The exterior: hallways, stairs were disgusting. Cigarette butts, trash, dirt everywhere. Very unclean outside our room, stairs to our door were littered. Just upkeep the outside areas and walkways better. Really gross.

Plentiful parking, standard continental breakfast, swimming pool, gym - all good. The entire property is dated and not well maintained. Apparently one has to request room cleaning service because they wouldn’t do anything otherwise.

It's fine if you need something cheap, the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was good. Easy to get to and room was accessible. Nice pool We had 3 lights out in the bathroom. The floors were very dirty. We didn’t use any of the dishes because they were dirty. The towels were thin.

Convenient Old, run down. Carpeting full of stains. or conditioning set at 63 degrees and I was unable to adjust.

Upon arrival, I noticed the faint smell of marijuana in the air. As we get to our room, there are random people hanging around, different groups, all smoking marijuana and drinking. They all seem to live there. They were up at all hours making noise. I would be almost ok with all of that. But when we walked into our room, it smelled like someone was smoking marijuana in our room! On day 2, we figured out that the AC intake is closed to where the smokers were at. The bathtub had rust and mildew. My pillow cover had strands of hair on it. Positive: the attendant for breakfast was great!

I like the female associate she greeted me with a smile she was very pleasant. I also enjoyed the area of the hotel. I also liked the layout of the room that we had. The rooms were dirty had vomit in the sink, the room had a mildew smell with bleach disinfect, the bathroom had mold the room was just horrible, The sheets and blanket on the bed was stained as if it wasn't changed by house keeping. The fridge was dirty someone left there food in it, just overall they need to fire house keeping because they're not doing there job anyway. I tried to use the business center and the printer didn't work.

I was hoping the previous reviews were inaccurate but the facilities are truly unclean and run-down. The pool was so frigid, we couldn't swim. Breakfast was adequate and we were able to sleep sound for the one night we were there. The location is tucked away from traffic and outside of Burlington which was what we were looking for. Cleanliness, room supplies, pool temperature and room improvements are needed.

The one staff member who checked me in was really nice. The suites were big and technically had everything you would want, and could have been great The smell in the room was unbearable. A mixture of cleaning product (?) and old smoke. Breathing it in felt horrible. The shower curtain rod was broken and when I went to the front desk, the morning person was disinterested in helping out. After much convincing, he agreed to give me a different room...that one smelled even stronger, had a stained bathtub and a spider literally crawled out of the tub and towards me when I opened the door. I went back to my orginial room and just dealt with the shower curtain situation. Water damage on the ceiling in several places. There was garbage in the trash can when I arrived. Why did I stay here? Because I rushed to book and did not read the reviews. You can find a better hotel, do not stay here.

Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was decent. They are NOT affiliated with Sonesta Suites, they are independently owned & operated. 1st room they gave us was dirty, dog hair and dog food all over the floor. Tables and counters were dirty, fridge had jelly shelves. 2nd room was cleaner, but there was not enough light, we had to turn on every light in the room. Carpet was stained. Overall I didn't feel clean in the room.
