Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Burnsville

The toilet in my room was unclean. It took over 2 hours to get someone to clean it. I had to call Expedia. The staff that came to clean was very rude to me. The hotel has a smell that I didn’t understand. The coffee in the lobby was always cold. I didn’t enjoy my stay there.

Staff were helpful. Hotel needs a complete reburb. Dirty bathrooms with broken or overly used facilities. Breakfast quality poor. Would not stay there again.

The to-go bagel bag had a moldy bagel in it. Perhaps check the bagels before putting them out.

Check in was easy around 530 pm and at first look our first floor room was adequate. Our room key wouldn't open the nearest door to where we parked so we moved our car. Obviously the hotel is undergoing major renovations so we expected construction. HOWEVER when we got back to our room for the night around 930 pm and pulled back the bed covers we found BEDBUGS crawling under the pillows and on the sheet. Immediately called the front desk and he asked if we wanted to check out. Whaaat? It is past 10 pm, raining, we have 2 dogs and we live 7+ hours away. He said he'd try to find another room. My husband went down and got a cart so we could pack up and move to the third floor which also happened to be half under renovations but at least we didn't find any bedbugs. The next morning, breakfast was so so. Skim milk machine not working and the container of mixed fruit looked well past its prime. Disappointing stay for sure.

The pool and sauna remain broken and unavailable. The whole interior needs remodeling as it's very dated, dark, and visible repairs not expertly finished.

This hotel is not up to Hampton Inn standards, which I usually find to be stable. It is old, run-down, in need of maintenance, and the staff didn't seem to know how to help. The in-person breakfast was great, though! But there were no to-go bags ready early in the morning upon departure, even though I requested one the day before. And when I finally did get a breakfast bag, it had an old and moldy bagel. It is currently under maintenance for the pool, I believe. But the whole hotel is in need of serious upgrades!

It is under remodeling. It needs remodeling. It was clean. Pool and sauna under remodeling. It felt like I was in a very old super 8.

our floor were closed with paper signs on the door saying what was broken in the rooms. Our personal room was ok but the bathroom wasn't super clean and everything is old.

We booked the room for the pool. Come to find out the pool was under construction. When I booked on Expedia it didn't state that and I couldn't change anything. That was the biggest downfall for us with two kids. But it was a nice room and nice staff.

The building is very old and in need of renovation. They should close to guests and do the job. Instead they were trying to do both. I booked for 3 nights, checked out after 1. Strong odors, mildew in my room.. unacceptable

Have stayed at this property throughout my travels to Mn and I have to say it has gone downhill. Looks like Reno’s are being done to the pool and spa. Our rooms smelled like mildew and felt very humid. The sheets on the bed were soft and not comfortable. Other than that the rooms was clean but I’m not sure I’d of stay there again. Greta location though.

Room was dirty and smelly. Bedding wasn't cleaned. The entire place could use cleaning, it doesn't seem well-maintained. This was supposed to be a 2 night stay but we cut it short. Would never stay here again!
