Garner Hotel Butte by IHG

This was our first time staying in Butte on a trip from Sandpoint, Idaho to Broomfield, Colorado. The Garner was conveniently located off 90, and close to downtown. Clean and spacious rooms, great breakfast.

The hotel was good, but nothing special. Breakfast staff were warm and welcoming.

Very nice experience. Staff was efficient, friendly and kind. You walk into the hotel to a open/spacious area which houses the front desk, coffee machines, a comfy gathering area with a fireplace, computers and 2 story ceilings. There is a level one with a ramp or 3 steps down to rooms, breakfast area and laundry. Room was great… no carpeting, leather or leather-like chairs that can be cleaned. Very clean. The bed was comfortable with room darkening curtains over the large window. Breakfast was tasty with staff that was cheerful and attentive. More rooms were located on the upper floor … walk up per steps that were wide and not as deep as most steps. I did not look or see an elevator. This hotel is new to IHG. Nice edition!

Convenient location, room appeared generally clean but there was food left in the fridge from previous guests and the breakfast wasn't anything to rave about. This was the most affordable place we stayed during our trip.

The breakfast staff were top of the line best! So friendly and helpful. I know good customer service and appreciate they were 10 stars! All of the ladies we met were great. All the staff were helpful. Thanks for a great stay. I would recommend!

this was book thru Expedia. i canceled it in 2 min as the dates were wrong. they said you would not refund the 2 nights and also not 1 night. will not stay with you again as this was just wrong

This hotel is very clean and rooms were great

The not so good: We stayed here twice in 2026, once in July and once in September. The woman who checked us in in October was also there in July and is memorable. She acts exasperated over checking you in. It's like you are inconveniencing her by your very presence. The pool - In July, the pool and hot tub were completely closed the first night and open the second night, but the hot tub was ice cold. In September, the pool and hot tub were open. Hot tub was hot, but only had 16" of water in it, so only your feet and shins could soak. If you like pool amenities with your stay, I don't think this place puts much effort into their pool area.

Great property.

It’s an excellent place to stay, we ended up staying an extra day to explore the area more, our recommendation is trying to avoid the room next to the freeway if you’d like some quietness while those rooms have a beautiful mountain view so it’s a trade off and it’s up to you. The continental breakfast is good with many varieties to choose from, they also provide apples and oranges but not bananas, possibly not in a season (?) we are retired and travel all over the world and all 50 states but all in all we’d love to stay here again

Breakfast was normal hotel fare. Room was clean and updated. Bed was not super. Could hear lots of feet from the room above us.
