Good place.

It was a decent place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, would have liked a bigger gym with more equipment but overall had a good experience while staying there.
-
Stayed just one night, Passing through Butte. We weren't able to get any sleep as the air conditioning unit was too loud and the room was to hot without it running.
-
Breakfast was sparse. Pancake machine didn't work. The selection was average but the orange juice was gone for 3 days. The whole property could use some upgrades and general upkeep. The staff was WONDERFUL!!! I hope that they are appreciated because otherwise this would be a one star hotel.
-
Our room was clean and comfortable. The price was right. The location was easily accessible from the interstate. It was a safe environment.
-
Staff was great and they took dogs. Very convenient.

The building was old and showed signs of aging. (Slightly cracked tub, plaster at the baseboard in bathroom cracked and visible. The room was neat. The staff were amazing! I pulled into the parking lot with my 20’ U-haul, with a car in tow, only to find out that I needed to park it on the street. They helped me to get it where it needed to be. The breakfast was amazing for that size hotel.

Great location to freeway. Close to a walking trail/park. Room was quiet but… AC was noisy, breakfast was lackluster and shower temp could have been hotter.
-
Metal framing around the bed which was creaky, and tv outdated you cannot stream. Bathroom was tight hotel needs to be updated. For a one night stay it will do.

I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past on my way through Butte. It served the purpose.
-
Staff needs to be trained in customer service and the room wasn’t completely cleaned. Very average hotel - paid way too much for it
-
The cleaning staff left several bottles of cleaning supplies in the bathroom area. Bed not great.
-
The beds were comfortable enough. The tub and bathroom walls have been wiped clean, but not deep cleaned in a while. Breakfast was very disappointing! The area and hotel felt safe.

When we arrived the hallway outside the room smelled of mould, our room, a non-smoking room smelled of smoke and the bathroom smelled of urine. The toilet had a dark yellow/brown ring around the inside of the toilet bowl. And when I tried to log onto the free WiFi it was not working. When I tried to call the front desk got nothing but a busy signal so I took my iPad down to the front desk and asked for help with WiFi and told them my issues. 3 of them sitting at the desk, no customers or anyone else there. The one staff member reset their WiFi and logged me onto their WiFi and blamed it on the fact that I have an Apple device. As for my other complaints they gave me a spray bottle of disinfectant and sent me back to my room. I do give them credit though, when we went out for a bit that evening and returned a staff member had gone upstairs and sprayed air freshener in the hallway so that at least didn’t smell anymore. I will be a lot more careful and think twice before staying at another Wingate property in the future.

Hotel and room were older than expected, but clean in general. However, the bathroom shower curtain is hung through the bath wall handle (typical) - allowing for a slight moldy smell for one with a mold sensitivity/super sensitive sense of smell. Air conditioner worked well for the weather and breakfast was good.
-
Much nicer than expected. The sheets seemed a little worn and the bed had a metal side to the platform which was a little weird, but the hotel was fine. We were not expecting a 5-star resort after all. We would stay there again. Probably not a good location for a dog (assuming they even allow pets) because there was not any grass patches, which was surprising given that it's Butte.

Fine for a quick stay but room had a really weird smell to it.
-
Poorly maintained rooms and pool. Shower curtain screws were half in and barely holding the curtain in place. There was over painting in some locations and leftover masking tape from painting (not recent painting) as well. The pool was cold and the water looked dirty. The pool lining/paint was also flaking off. Ultra small bathroom. Breakfast pancake machine was broken.

The breakfast was nice, stocked and the area was very clean. The rooms could use a little more TLC in regards to the AC abilities, our toilet seat was loose and our door was very difficult to close all the way (a broken hinge) and you can see the hallway light when the door is shut so sealing it might help the AC a little....overall it wasn't too bad. Thank you!

Staff was helpful and location was convenient. Breakfast options were limited and some things were not available.
