Rodeway Inn Calhoun South

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. BEWARE!!! Do not ever stay here if you are thinking about it. I am never one to complain but this was awful. The room smelled like a complete ash tray and it is supposed to be non smoking. Outside there was people just all sitting around outside of their rooms. Made us very uncomfortable. Trash all over the parking lot. The pillow cases were gross and yellow, I went to ask for more and they were even nastier. I assume they do not use bleach. There was sticky stuff all over the counters. Stuff missing from the room like hair dryer ripped down. Cigarettes ashes on the shelf with the towels. Doors and walls all black. Floors disgusting. Just a filthy establishment. You do not feel comfortable taking your shoes off.

Nothing Bugs getting on us while asleep and when we lifted the mattress a pizza box was in between the mattress and box spring

This place is filthy. After booking this room I received an email that breakfast would not be provided. I asked for a full refund because part of my decision to book with them was breakfast and they had a pool. They denied the refund. When I got there the room where breakfast would be held was visibly being used for storage so it was obvious that they haven't provided breakfast for an extensive time. The pool was a scene of disgust. No one should ever exposed to such a sight of filth and neglect. Our towels and bedding all had visible spots of brown who knows what. Cigarette butts were everywhere outside of the room doors.

I walked in the room and immediately saw roaches on the wall and floor i quickly walked out and went to a different hotel do not recommend unless you like roaches crawling everywhere and how is a non smoking room smell like a straight cigarette 0/10 and do not recommend

The workers were very nice and helpful and because we got in so early in the morning they even allowed us to stay after check out to get more sleep! The sheets and pillows were yucky and stained the walls were dirty very poor cleaning

Absolutely NOTHING!! DO NOT stay here! Loud,homeless people,drug addicts and nothing is clean.pool hasn’t been useable for very long time, when it gets warm out it will probably smell horrible. Our towels were used&dirty, our sheets&blankets were used dirty along with burn marks&ashes in the sheets,chairs so dirty&stained you don’t dare sit in them.Homeless&drug addicts walking around. Very loud with bar behind, you will not be able to sleep.

The rooms were great but i don't care for the carpet. Especially in hotels. The staff was excellent as they always are when we visit.

Keep in mind, this was the least expensive motel around. We had a double queen bed room. One of the beds only had one pillow. TV had no signal. Toilet paper holder was broke. No hand towels. The "curtain" was taped to the window. (To top it all off, we had neighbors who blasted their tv and partied all night long) We should have complained, but didn't. I guess you get what you pay for.

The employees were really nice. However there were stains on the sheets, no lock on the room door, the tub faucet didn’t work well, and giant spiders everywhere outside. My son has autism and not having a lock on the door was a huge risk to his safety so I barely slept. They were unable to switch our room unfortunately as all rooms were booked. If you have children I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Rooms are disgusting.

The room was ok I did not like the fact I was lied to by false advertisement the fact that the average husband showed a pool that there wasn't a poem that you could actually swim in

Rooms were decent, had a weird smell. Beds were comfortable and A/C was cold Advertised that they had a pool and it may have had some kind of new species of algae growing. It was green as green can get. That was a selling point for me and other places. I wouldn't have booked had I known the pool was out of commission.

The pool was green the rooms smelled like cigarettes the first room we had the sheets were stained and the fridge was leaking allbover the floor

The room was horrifically, dirty horrifically, smelly nasty. The air conditioning made a horrible noise. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I travel full.

The room was very dirty and smelled like sewer. The toilet was broken, sewer flooded the bathroom and carpeted area after using it, just #1. We were in the room about 10 minutes total. The manager did not have another room available and refunded half the reservation cost.
