Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa

Beautiful adults only pool, good restaurant on site, very close to wineries, very cute town. Not good proximity to SFO if you have a morning flight.

We had an amazing overnight stay! The grounds were clean and peaceful. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Bedding and rooms were clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back our next vacation to Calistoga.

One suggestion would be a complimentary coffee/tea station for guests. Otherwise a great location and easy walk to shops and restaurants.

A/C was super loud. Check in was easy. Love the ice and water machine. Staff friendly. Pool’s were great. Parking lot lots next to front rooms. Bed comfy. Walkable to town. Would stay again. No furniture to use in room ( desk and bed, no chairs). Loved the pour over coffee.

Had to go to office to find where breakfast was being served to buy coffee. I expected to see a small coffee area where it was already prepared. Breakfast was good. Surprised that I had to pay for breakfast as I thought it would be included with the price I had paid for the room.

Girls trip and we enjoyed the adult pool for a quiet vibe. Had cocktails by the pool and really good fish tacos with corn salsa. Room was pleasant. Bar was lively. The only minor negative feedback is the bathroom is very far outside of the adult pool area, requiring to walk about 2 mins away and enter/exit two gates using card key. The main (kid) pool has a bathroom right in that gated area. Would be better of adult pool did, too.

Stayed here since it was close to the Castillo di Amorosa and it was a great choice! I loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were very clean and pleasant. The staff was great, specially Jose from the bar; he was bringing great vibes and delicious cocktails! Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Napa Valley.

One other comment. Is that for a hotel of this caliber and amenities the hot tub should definitely be outside and not in an indoor building. This has been a comment I’ve heard from many of my friends who stay at the resort from time to time. Also, the bathrooms are very poorly located and should at least have access from both the adult and children’s pool areas.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We will be back definitely. Its a hidden gem in calistoga. Dont be deceived by the name as motor lodge. Thank you

Having access to two pools was amazing. The property felt fresh, updated, and clean. Property is also in a great location in Calistoga.

Everything was way overpriced though. 6.50 for a kids milk is insane. 5 dollars for a can of soda also insane. Honestly the whole town is kind of overpriced.

We had a very relaxing weekend. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Great property and location !

Great location, rooms, and service

It was a perfect choice for grandparents bringing their grandchild. They've done a fantastic of fixing this old motel up! I like that they had a very thing on site! So you really don't have to leave the property. The pools, restaurant and bar were all very nice! It looks like at one time there was an easier way to get from the Adult only pool to the bathrooms However, I noticed a lot of people having to walk all the way around the outside area through the main pool just to get to the bathrooms!
