Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Camarillo

First of all they tried to charge me a $20 parking fee without any notification that they were going to do so when I called them they refused to take it off as soon as I called my bank they took it off. The rooms are starting to fall apart little things like the thermostats on the wall don't work you have to use the air conditioner itself. The carpet starting to get worn not very clean the breakfast is absolutely atrocious. I will never stay there again. It used to be a nice place couple years back but they're not maintaining it it looks like they're getting ready to try to sell the property off and I'm sure that's what they're going to do. I wouldn't stay there again even for discounted prices especially after they tried to get me for the parking fee

In room 135 (handicap room) the shower leaks beyond the rubber stop and pools by the bathroom door. No curtains in the room just a window shade. Both room 135 and 137 smelt of rotten eggs when we first opened the door and entered.

The only reason I am giving it a 3 star review is because of one of there receptionist that works there and I truly wish I would've remembered her name. The operational manager was extremely rude and didn't even care when I explained that the carpets felt humid when we first checked and I even showed her my wet sock and she took of her shoe and said I see what your talking about but your only option is to move rooms but not guaranteed to have my two rooms together. The shower had pink mold on the walls and the floor was dirty. The hotel is super muggy and the rooms aren't as spacious. Sometimes saving an extra $100 isn't worth it and it showed.

The daytime male front desk attendant was extremely rude. He didn't in care or apologized once I brought it to his attention. He kind of sours this place.The other staff are great.

The room was clean, staff was very polite and helpful. The bathroom needs a small cosmetic repair. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. These amenities are always a bonus!

Staff was very helpful coordinating accommodations for myself and an elderly parent with special requirements. They made the stay very easy and all had smiles as they helped. (Thank you, Jackie!) Even the expected breakfast faire was made much better by the attentive and caring staff (Monica).

Yes, put the bananas were overriped. They didn't put out fresh ones. Clean broom air conditioner good.

We stayed for just one night. It was Memorial Day weekend and the hotel was sold out. It was an absolute disaster. There were teenagers everywhere. It must have been sports teams . It was noisy and messy and I didn't get much sleep at all since we were on the 1st floor right next to the lobby. The breakfast area was so dirty and there was barely enough food. Overall a very unsatisfying experience, especially for $300/night!

Great place to stay. We had pool and hot tub to ourselves two days in a row. We would stay there next time for sure.

Breakfast was good I was upgraded because my original room got flooded
