Residence Inn by Marriott San Jose Campbell

Large rooms, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Gym was reasonable given the size of the hotel. * Aircon was noisy. I switched it off but kept turning itself on at random times. * The area around the hotel was slightly industrialized. It appeared safe but there were no decent restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, etc

The staff were very friendly. We had a room with a fold-out couch that I slept on. The provided linen only had a thin blanket, and I was so cold I slept with my street clothes on. I think there should always be a comforter and pillow provided in the linen for a fold-out bed in any room that has one.

Suites are great, spacious, and new. Mattresses are comfortable. Kitchen comes with all required utensils. Breakfast was good but a little disappointing compared to how great everything else was.

Have stayed here many times...

Have stayed here many times over the years. I am still coming back.

The staff was very, very helpful, thorough and knowledgeable about the facility. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of food: waffles you made yourself, yogurts, bagels hot breakfast sandwichs, eggs, potatoes, dry cereals and oatmeal along with a variety of juices. Parking was near the individual rooms which made it easy to access by wheelchair. A great stay - thank you Residence Inn.....

They changed our room due to not being ready but new room was only a full bed instead of a King. Food looked good on Saturday but ran out in of eggs and coffee when we got there she brought more but it was cold. Sunday food not cooked enough and no bread only bagels oatmeal cold and not cooked enough Went out to eat both days About 4 am Sunday am ladies talking loud arguing outside of our room called office but no answer. Open door and told them to shut up! Location was convenient and room clean

Very nice stay.

The bed was comfortable. But the property is in bad repair. I was really surprised. Chipped paint, tattered furniture. Dirty smudges on TVs and appliances. Dirty looking floors and carpet. The split level room could be great with tender loving care. But the outside was not inviting either. Dull chipped paint. When I drove up, I thought I was in the wrong place. I'm just thankful it was for only 1 night. In fact I changed my reason for being in town to an earlier time so that I could check out early.

Nice little property. Comfortable and quiet. Well maintained. I would stay there again.

Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Nice landscaping. Nice selection of cardio machines and weights in the workout room. Does need a bit of paint on a few window frames. One of the two treadmills was broken in the gym.

Accommodation costs are not high. This was my first time using a sofa bed; I was prepared for it, but it was absolutely terrible. I would like a room with two proper beds. Despite arriving early, the breakfast spread wasn't ready—at what time am I supposed to go to get a meal?
