My daughter and I were visiting Dickinson College. The B&B was conveniently located within a 10 minute walk to campus and close to many restaurants and coffee shops. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We plan on returning for future visits.

I feel it is overpriced. It is an historic building, though it is not "luxury". No soundproofing between rooms or in hallways. appliances/ furnishings were comfortable, not fancy. No info on website about which rooms are on 1,2,3rd floor- hard to tell how accessible each room is.

Wow! An absolutely beautiful room. Honestly, better than the pictures in my opinion. Great for anyone who loves traditional architecture and antiques, but might also love a luxury bath and all the special accents.

Room was spotless with great amenities. Staff was courteous and breakfast was good.

Fine bnb. Large room with own bath. Little road noise outside , but not too bad. Choice of two very good home made quiches for breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, & pastries. Will stay again.

Carlisle House is beautiful and preserving of the past. Quaint, quiet, and polished. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would stay again!

Our stay was very comfortable. We had multiple family members traveling together, so the two bedrooms and bathrooms offered privacy, and the sitting room allowed us to gather together at the end of the day...much nicer than having two separate hotel rooms. There were full size sodas and water in the fridge and plenty of coffee pods for each morning. We really enjoyed the breakfast offered in the morning. It was a lovely room, with a variety of homemade breakfast options. People chatted with each other and it was a lovely way to start the day. It was an older building, so we understood there were some limitations. Our room faced the street and many large trucks could be heard loudly through the old glass windows. The blinds had seen better days and were difficult to raise and lower. We wished the tv was a bit bigger, and the wifi connection kept dropping out so it was a challenge to try to watch tv in the evening. One of the showers was wonderful, but the other was hard for my father to get hot water (it may have been human error).

We enoyed our stay at Carlisle House during Ice Fest!

Breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed the personal service while dining. Made use of the bathrobe, not something I usually experience in a standard hotel. I have bad knees, so three flights of stairs was challenging. Parking was right.

Loved the place and location

The property is beautifully furnished and our every need seems to have been anticipated. Many extra touches of care, such as spa toiletries, mini fridge, luxurious sheets, etc. Our host went above and beyond, even calling to check on us when we hadn’t arrived (we were lost) and coming outside in the cold to lead us to the parking area, carrying a bag, etc. He was absolutely a dream host.
