Beautiful property, the amenities were so wonderful. Highly recommend staying here, golfing was fun, they have a golf cart service that’ll take you where you need on the property, the pools were so nice to swim in. We went yo the bar for dinner and got the nachos, fish and chips and brookie, all were very delicious, especially the nachos.

beautiful grounds and immaculately kept, spent time at adult pool which was fabulous, love the renovated large rooms, points off for bathroom & wc sliding doors that needed major repairs. also not cool to be charged for parking outside in the dirt...understand the fee if resort was in the middle of a big city in a highrise. but overall great stay and inwill be back.also hotels.com good member vip credit of $45 daily was not applied for some reason so thats annoying.

Great family friendly resort, great amenities and excellent service.

We have been staying here for over 25 years. The resort rooms are in desperate need of a complete overhaul. The shower in our room was moldy and an awful septic smell was coming from the drain. The entire room smelled. We asked for a manger to call us two days in a row and never received a call back. This room was described as "newly renovated", the only things that were renovated was a new headboard, bedside tables and a dresser. The bathroom is original and completely outdated. At $650/night they need to do better.

We enjoyed are whole stay. The couples massage in the suite was amazing. We had the La costa salad with chicken, and the spring rolls at the spa- both were excellent. We will be back.
-
The resort is pricey for what I received. The window panes to the patio have a poor seal so the door was foggy looking out. The deadbolt to the room didn't function. There was rotting wood around the patio door frame and the door to my room. Check in was to be at 4. The room was ready at 5. I had green beans under the desk in my room. The staff was very nice and bobs steakhouse was delicious

We had a great time and everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back.
-
A nice property with great amenities and generous summer specials, but the rooms need attention. The furniture was dated, I found way too many spiders in my room, and my package status wasn’t honored at check‑in, which also took a while to get settled in a room to begin with. Lovely grounds, but the guest experience needs tightening to match the luxury branding.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was clean and the staff was incredibly kind. We would definitely stay here again!
-
Beautiful, high end and kid friendly but also adult only friendly with kids club services.
-
Beautiful property with multiple pools, golf course, and spa. Great for families or couples.
-
Still a great property and resort - and they have recently done some remodeling. Staff is excellent all around. Things can get pricey…looking at you cocktail lounge

Location, physical plant, ambiance. All was good.

Amazing common spaces, and wonderful staff. Our room smelled like mildew. The adjoining casita #121 was particularly bad. We tried to open the doors, but it didn’t clear nor help. We did not care for the scent of all the soaps either. Lavender isnt everyone’s cup of tea.

We love this resort for the last 15 years. Everything is so beautiful there and the spa is a once in a lifetime experience. On our last stay we were disappointed to always be redirected to different departments for help. We eventually insisted that staff pick up their phones and request help instead of outsourcing us and making us walk everywhere for simple requests.

The resort is large and does require a little bit of walking to, and from the centralized dining areas and various pools throughout the property. The family pools (complex of three) is filled with toddlers and their parents. The noise level is very high and unless you have a toddler in to not at all pleasant to swim in. Three other pools that are for general use are much nicer and quieter - those several families with small children and their large Floaties - who want to avoid the loud family pool dominate these areas as well. Again, nothing in comparison to the family pool but not as quiet as a family with teenagers would like. Finally there is a 21+ pool, which we did not see as our kids are still that age where we want to be nearby when they are swimming. The food is fairly priced and there are lots of options. The marketplace allows you to choose things like pastries, espresso drinks, bagels, sandwiches etc. The bar is nice and we enjoyed watching the World Cup. The carts that transport guests throughout the resort sometimes require a wait - best to call ahead. But it all works. We loved our stay!

They have so many hidden fees and many times staffs behave rudely.
-
The place was really the most family friendly resort I’ve ever been to and the staff was truly amazing!!! I deducted one star because I did find a big dead bug under our bathroom sink, and killed a spider the side of a quarter on the wall in our bathroom. The room itself was really cute but I’ll be honest it felt a little dirty. Otherwise an awesome experience!!
