We loved our time at the Omni La Costa. Room was clean, pool was a lot of fun for the kids. We all enjoyed the food and drinks at the pool. Check in was later than expected / advertised (almost an hour and a half after advertised, and we had to check in multiple times on if the room was ready). We’ll absolutely return.

they reminded us that we had a $53 resort credit, and then conveniently forgot to subtract that from our bill, requiring a phone call, phone tree, two operators and infinite headache to get reversed. the room was tacky, it reminded us of a 1970s florida sit com time share, there was a refrigerator in the middle of the room with two fans sitting on it, the furniture was dated, likely the early 90s the coach was musty and smelled like wet dog really, what a horrible disappointment, we will never stay there again

Didn’t golf, but strongly considering it for next time

We arrived around 11:00 a.m. knowing check-in wasn't until after 4:00 p.m. I wasn't expecting a room early, but I also didn't expect to wait until 5:45 p.m. We spent nearly seven hours waiting, checking with the front desk throughout the afternoon while my young son grew more and more exhausted. By the end, he was lying on the lobby floor because he was so tired. We were told housekeeping was behind all day. At one point, we were offered an "upgrade," but it was actually a dark first-floor room with an enclosed patio instead of the balcony we had reserved. We chose to wait another hour for the correct room. When we finally got in, the bed sheets were still damp. Checkout had issues too. Although we were given a late checkout, our room keys stopped working at 11:00 a.m., and we had to wait to get back into our room. Then the promised resort fee waiver and our $53 food credit weren't applied, so checkout meant another stop at the front desk to get the bill corrected. The staff was friendly, but the resort seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. If you're staying here, be prepared for possible delays and double-check your bill before leaving. As much as we enjoyed the property, this experience made me wonder if a day pass would have been a better option than staying overnight.

Check in is 4:00. We arrived at 3:15 hoping to get an early. We had a wedding rehearsal to change for. They said we could get a room “shortly “. Didn’t notify us until 4:30. We had to rush to make the rehearsal. Even worse my daughter went to her room to drop her things and go straight to the rehearsal. Bathroom was filthy with urine all over the seat. Second day I took out a bath towel from the starch under the sink. Some kind of red lump, looked like a blood clot or melted makeup, couldn’t identify was on the supposed to be clean towel.

Our experience began with my massage appointment being rescheduled due to a personal matter involving my original massage therapist. While I completely understood that unexpected situations happen and was happy to be flexible, the change meant my two girlfriends and I could no longer enjoy our spa day together as planned since their appointments remained the same. For a girls' getaway, that was disappointing in itself. Unfortunately, the massage itself was equally disappointing. One of my friends and I had the same massage therapist, despite booking two different massage services. Although he asked about our areas of concern beforehand, he performed what felt like virtually the exact same massage on both of us, with very little attention to the individualized services we had specifically selected and paid for. The technique felt mechanical, repetitive, and rushed rather than personalized, intuitive, or therapeutic. Even after requesting adjustments during the service, the massage still did not improve. Honestly, I left feeling like I could have received the same experience from a strip mall. The spa staff only offered complimentary access to spa amenities for a future visit.

Amenities are still good but the accommodations are so old they need to renovate it. Some parts are broken and stinky carpet. I don't recommend staying at junior suite.

Had a great time

Checking in delayed as room not ready ,the sofa bed no pillows or blankets ,2 hrs to get them ,very spread out property.

Beautiful property, cool stuff for the kids. Tiki Tuesday was fun. Loved the close hike as well. Def coming back again!

The property is huge and requires a lot of walking to get around. It’s at least 1/2 a mile from our room to the main pool for example. The parking lots are not well paved at all and our lot had no lighting. The pools were very nice and the staff very friendly and attentive. We had a few minor issues that were quickly resolved once we contacted them. Good property overall but I’d probably try a different resort if I was in the area again.

The experience was flawless from start to finish. The valet was very helpful and check-in was easy. Our room was fantastic and we loved all the different pools and the areas to hang out. We had dinner at Vue and it was delicious. Overall it was a perfect trip for us!

Large beautiful property with gorgeous flowers all over. The landscaping was impressive. Perfect for big groups but still having your own space. Good for families and also for adults only. Many pools to choose from, including an adult only. Love having the golf course and the restaurants on site. The coffee shop had great coffee and the pool staff was attentive. The food wad good too! Also, it’s always fun to shop when on vacation and they had at least 3 shops to choose from. Our kids utilized the bike rentals but next time we will bring our own. We will be back.

The staff told me the room wasn’t ready and refused giving the estimated time when I arrived at 6:00 pm. And then she left. Then I had to ask the front desks a few times. The message that said the room is ready never be received.

Where they’re lacking is in the food department. We ordered at the bar restaurant and it took an hour to get food to our table. Restaurant was about half full. They have an odd in room dining set up where you order through a third party app. We did and card was accepted however food never arrived. By the time we called to check where food was, the kitchen had closed. Other than that, a solid 4star resort but a lot of work to do to get to that 5th star.

The room was a great size with a separate bedroom area. The bathroom and shower were perfect for the family. We spent most of the time at the splash zone pools where the small water slide was where our daughter was enjoying most of her time. The restaurant and marketplace were great and the ice cream was delicious! Highly recommended for families with children.

The flowers on property were beautiful!

Would have given 5 stars except for the food. Everything about our stay was spectacular. The room, the amenities, the pools. It really is kid paradise and so beautiful. We had the perfect vacation. But we were definitely underwhelmed with the food and drinks. We had dinner with cocktails and brunch at the Vue, lunch and cocktails at the pool (the worst turkey club wrap we’ve ever had, which how bad can you mess that up), and dinner at Bar Traza. We did not have one meal that was great. Nothing bad, all just mediocre. Which was disappointing considering the price. The summer promotion of Kids eating free for breakfast and lunch and half off dinner helped make up for it. But still wish the food had been better. Would still come back for the pools but probably wouldnt eat at the resort for dinners
