Residence Inn by Marriott Carlsbad

Great

The stay was pleasant overall. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were meticulously cleaned. Breakfast was all you can ask for. Highly recommended

Nice place. Great breakfast. Very useful place for a week long trip. A little dated, needs some TLC but would stay here again

Clean room, great breakfast, friendly staff , great kitchen

Room was great, with a well outfitted kitchen. Only wish there was a bar or lounge on the property.

We will definitely stay here again. The amenities the breakfast in the morning all great! It was clean and well maintained. I didn’t get to check out the gym maybe next time.

Weird room numbering system, e. g., we were in 114 and right next up us was 120.

I really loved my visit I will be back again

Breakfast was a little early for kids who oversleep. I think it's 6:30 - 9:30? Get there on time :) Only improvement I'd ask for is to keep the coffee out until 11 or noon. Otherwise excellent!

We arrived and the hot tub was out of order but was fixed later that evening. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent. Enjoyed our 2-room suite (2 kids, 2 adults) w/sofa sleeper. Made dinner most every night at the kitchen. Enjoyed the fire "pit" and even grilled one night! Home away from home (even if its not by the beach - its about a 10 minute drive away). Breakfast was a little early for kids who oversleep. I think it's 6:30 - 9:30? Very nice food for the complimentary breakfast. The room is well kept. However, there is bad smell in the room.

The breakfast was actually pretty great. They had a fantastic waffle station. They had cold brew coffee, and they had great selection of pastries and toast. Hallways and the rooms were really clean and everyone was very friendly.

Exelente

The hotel was very nice. Great location, good pool, and nice room.

Excellent service, even car EV chargers

No highway noise, property was clean and looked safe

Excellent hotel with great amenities and a delicious breakfast. They even offer cold brew! Would definitely stay again

The hotel amenities were well maintained and clean. Breakfast was good with good selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the appliances in room were not in great shape. The fridge did not work, the AC did not work, the toaster did not work, the dishwasher was new with plastic on it (and in it, not properly installed in the cabinet and leaking...). We stayed at this hotel many times before, but we didn't have such type of problems. I'm not sure what is going on here...

Superb

Pool was not clean with sand from beach toys and items having been rinsed off in pool. Pool water was cloudy.
