Stevens Inn - Carlsbad

Excellent

Everything was great we just had a couple of lights out in the bathroom sink area. I didn't say anything but thought they should have changed them when making up the room before we got there.

Nice place to stay. Breakfast employees very nice and food was good!

Was traveling for work and we opted to stay at Steven’s Inn. From the first impression it was not a positive experience staff was not friendly or helpful. Failed to explain the breakfast or the additional charge. The room at first glance looked cleaned till I found ants all over sink. When went to use a towel it was covered in hair as well as the floor mat. I went to get ice and there was a sign out of order and from the amount of dirt it had been broke for some time. The only other one I could find was outside and dirty. The curtains were broken and were a challenge to close. When using the shower the water did not drained and the tub filled with water. Would not recommend.

Great stay! Our room smelled a little weird when we walked in, but that’s my only complaint. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Great breakfast!

We got a bigger room and it gets hot in carlsbad during the summer. The a/c unit in not near the bedroom. So sleeping at night wasn't the coolest room we have slept in. This size of a room needs secondary unit near the back of the room. The bed was a little bouncy/soft for our taste. The breakfast was edible. Could be better. Overall compared to price of other hotels in neighborhood the value was decent for what we paid on a quick getaway vacation.

Rooms were spacious and clean with lots of lighting options and good AC. Bed was comfortable and big. Bathroom had double sinks and a large mirror. The restaurant on site was excellent, our dinner and dessert were great and good size portion. Well worth the money. All the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The room was so hot even with ac on full blast.

Really nice and clean the pool is beautiful and in a very good spot to relax and get ready for the day to come really helpful staff and a really nice Suite

Room was clean. However the AC could not keep the room cooler than 75 degrees (which is better than 100 degrees but still not where is like it to sleep to) breakfast was so so, but it is food and it's hot. Overall good experience

It took us 3 rooms before we got hot water. I had to dry my clothes 4 times before they were dried

The ice machine by our room didn't work. The other one was far. They didn't give us new towels for the next day even though we paid full price the that night. I had to walk all the way to get them and only a couple of pool towels. The staff was very nice. The 2 female karaoke bartenders were rude. Nice comfy room

I love that they have hot breakfast, rather then a Continental breakfast.

Staff was accommodating on needs to change rooms. Older property but was clean. Breakfast was ok, not the best but can’t expect too much from free breakfast.

A great place for families

Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Beds aren't comfortable at all. Good valve for what we paid.
