Stevens Inn - Carlsbad

It took us 3 rooms before we got hot water. I had to dry my clothes 4 times before they were dried

The ice machine by our room didn't work. The other one was far. They didn't give us new towels for the next day even though we paid full price the that night. I had to walk all the way to get them and only a couple of pool towels. The staff was very nice. The 2 female karaoke bartenders were rude. Nice comfy room

I love that they have hot breakfast, rather then a Continental breakfast.

Staff was accommodating on needs to change rooms. Older property but was clean. Breakfast was ok, not the best but can’t expect too much from free breakfast.

A great place for families

Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Beds aren't comfortable at all. Good valve for what we paid.

We liked it

Staff is friendly and helpful. We didn't eat the breakfast so can't say about that. The whole complex is very unique in that it doesn't look like a chain motel. Our suite was very clean if a little shabby. It only had AC in the living room so without a fan I think the bedroom would have been a little hot. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We enjoyed having the extra space of the kitchenette. There were 2 motel phones in our suite and neither worked so we had to go to office if we had a question which wasn't a big deal. We could have just called on our personal phones, just kinda weird that they didn't work. There also were no working ice makers close to us so we had to go to the office for this also. The pool furniture fabric was pretty sun baked and ripped so you had to be careful sitting down. All in all we enjoyed our couple of nights there and if ever back in this area would stay again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and staff was helpful and pleasant. The hot breakfast was good enough for our needs. We parked right in front of our room. It is quiet and restful. We did not get to use the pool or the laundry site. We enjoyed the layout of the hotel and the palm trees were a nice touch. The room was narrow but well maintained. The small fridge works extremely well and will freeze things. The microwave was convenient. Bonus: A train comes by around 7 am! The ambience of New Mexico.

The check in was very helpful. The property is very well maintained. The restaurant was reasonable priced and the food was good.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, good wifi and and great ac. Definitely recommend. However...now im being picky. 3 pillows to a bed was weird, according to the, I thought, usually it's four, but...this is just a tiny detail.

Beautiful lobby! All the staff were courteous and friendly. Very helpful with tourist info. The rooms were modest but very clean and equipped. Recommend for pleasant, modestly priced accommodation

Great staff but all restaurants were closed due to no water

Super friendly staff, great rooms, very clean and well maintained property. Very nice pool and laundry facilities. The buffet breakfast is a do not miss!! Biscuits gravy, real scrambled eggs, the whole thing

We enjoyed our stay here! It is very well kept with wonderful, helpful staff. It is in a great location. The rooms are spacious with a seating area as well as a mini fridge and microwave.

Not worth the money. I just felt dirty here.
