Candle Light Inn

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was great and outdoor fire pit very nice touch.

The room has been updated and had plenty of space for 2 people. There were even 2 luggage racks and 2 sitting chairs. The bed, pillows and linens were extremely comfortable. The location was very convenient to the town and a short walk to the beach.

Such a cute and warm little place! My fiancee and I enjoyed how walkable everything was to the Inn. The staff, especially Lori, were so kind and helpful! We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Perfect location

Great location. The room was large and well appointed. Very nice bathroom. Nice sitting area in the room. There were coffee and snacks available in the office. Fire pit in the parking lot area was nice, but the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. There really wasn’t any common area to spend any time in. I needed to get out of the room for a little bit because my husband didn’t feel well and there was really nowhere to go except a coffee shop.

Very clean and in an ideal location. Lori at the front desk was amazing. The only thing I would recommend is keeping your room windows open throughout the day. It’s currently August so temps were a bit warmer in Carmel. Our room didn’t have AC and by the time we checked in (3pm) it was a bit too warm in the room. Other than that, I would gladly stay here again and recommend. We have a 2yr old and 4yr old and it was perfect. They loved the fireplace out front and walking to all the shops and restaurants nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at the Candle Light Inn!! It was perfectly located to be able to walk through Carmel. The manager was very kind, personable, and gave us recommendations for places within the town for eating, shopping, etc. The rooms were very spacious and nice! We loved the fireplace courtyard in the front - perfect place to start or end the evening! Definitely would recommend :)

We LOVED our stay here and can’t wait to go back! It was beautiful, the staff was so sweet and the room was clean and well maintained. We will definitely go again!!

Magical hotel in the heart of Carmel

Very nice & clean property. One small issue was the weak water pressure in the shower. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Grateful for the helpful staff and enjoyed the comfortable bed.

Bed a bit too firm and needs a topper

We loved that everything was walking distance . All the shops and restaurants. We didn’t like that room didn’t have A/c

Perfect location for all of the places we like to visit. The room is very clean, as usual. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. This is our Carmel go-to.

The cleanness of the room

The location is great. All the sights are walkable in a few minutes. Restaurants, Cafe´s are close by. The staff was very friendly and the cookies at the front desk are delicious. Rooms felt very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dark.
