Property was so well appointed and very chic. Complimentary breakfast was so much more than expected. Eggs, breads, salads, fresh smoothies and so much more. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved drinking a glass of wine snuggled in a blanket by the outdoor fire pits. Definitely will be staying at the Stilwell again on my next trip to Carmel!

Deluxe king was small like a cruise ship cabin. Shower had very low pressure. Restaurant was closed. Property was clean and location was good. Price was a bit high ($700 per night) for the room size and amenities.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The property is pristine and modern, with thoughtful touches throughout. The warm hospitality set the tone right away when we were escorted to our room. Both the courtyard pizza and the innovative tapas breakfast were standout highlights, truly delicious and a brilliant concept. Having stayed at countless boutique resorts on our monthly travels, this experience truly stands out as one of our favorites. We cannot wait to return.

Great location. Clean, modern, comfortable. Bedding was so soft! Free breakfast was excellent. EV charging free! Only issue i had was I prefer more water pressure for showers.

New hotel, clean , safe, quiet, family and dog friendly, for these reasons I would recommend staying here. We ordered some of their pizzas from their limited menu and they were delicious and did not disappoint, would highly recommend trying them out. They have beautiful courtyard areas to lounge and hang out. Our only complaint is the check in time, while they do clearly indicate check in is at 4pm, I've never stayed at a hotel that is so strict and precise about the check-in time; we couldn't check in a minute earlier. We arrived around 12 and hoped our room would be ready by 2 pm, it was not. A 4pm check in time is also not average in comparison to the regular 3pm standard time. Check out is strictly at 11am so if you're only staying for 1 night (like us) you get minimal time at the hotel grounds. Lastly while breakfast was complimentary, it was not specified that it was from 8am-10am only (also a very short window) we arrived at 9:45 and they were cleaning up already and wouldn't allow us to get food. This was very disappointing and not very hospitable. Just a few FYIs to keep in mind.

The location, the room itself, and the courtyard are all excellent. They should go the extra mile and greet return guests, provide turndown service, etc. They charge what a high-end hotel would charge without providing the same amenities.

Clean and new Rooms was pretty small

The property is located in a prime location. You’re in walking distance to multiple restaurants and eateries. The property itself is beautiful and modern. However, housekeeping could use some training. Upon checking into my room, there was garbage left in the room.
