the room was very clean and the bathroom was nice. the beds were comfy and i liked the overall look of the property. i thought it was very cute. no ac or screens on the windows. there was no breakfast but we also could have been elsewhere when that was available.

Very overpriced. The room key kept dying, and there was no staff around, so having to call and wait. Not what I would expect for $400+ a night. I would say worth more like $150 a night. On the plus side, ample parking and good location.

Close to Ocean Ave. The girl at the front desk was less than helpful. No greeting, no smile... didn't seem to want to be there. Our reservation stated breakfast was included. There was NO breakfast.

Location was walking distance to everything. Location of room was by the street. Coffee was terrible.

Despite booking one stay, the hotel split our reservation into two. After the first night, our keys were deactivated, and we had to provide ID and a credit card again to reactivate them. The front desk was often vacant, and the lobby was frequently locked, requiring us to call and wait for assistance. We also learned housekeeping entered despite our Do Not Disturb sign, yet failed to replace the dirty towels left on the floor. While the location is convenient, the room condition and lack of reliable service made this a disappointing stay.

Location Noisy neighbors upstairs LATE at night . Staff not as friendly as we are accustome to in Carmel. Manager informed me after checking in there is no smoking (I knew) and no drinking. This was not mentioned when we booked this hotel.We did not drink,i just thought that was weird.Im almost 70 and on vacation ...REALLY . The card to the rm didn't work most of the time . not super happy with this one.

Location. Bed was not comfortable. Property was not particularly well maintained. No breakfast was provided; coffee and a granola bar are not acceptably considered breakfast. Room key was difficult and the second day the code was completely changed. No advance charges should have been added to my account in case of possible charges, of which there were none. My credit card is still waiting for a reversal. Desk clerk was very difficult to understand.

I liked the room. I wish the soaps were on the wall like many budget places have now. It's a waste to use so many plastic bottles nowadays.

This I an acceprblw hotel, its in a relatively good location and clean rooms. My problem with it Is the price and the frond desk. They didn't give us what we asked for in the room at all,weten't ready for us at 3 PM,. I would stay here as a last resort if nothing else could be available. And Expedia charged us way more than they said it would be.

TV was not so good. Missed continental breakfast they used to serve at your room. Housekeeper was very nice.
