Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge

Just came back from a stay at the Best Western in Camel. We had 2 rooms and I was very pleasantly surprised with hotel. The 2 rooms were recently renovated and very clean and spacious and they also had a partial ocean view. The front office staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. Breakfast was adequate with fruits, toasts, yogurt, boiled eggs and waffles and coffee. Breakfast and parking were 2 big advantages here! Not many places have that. Location is great- 10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants are close by. Lovely stay - will definitely stay here in the future.

Our group of four stayed at this property for the weekend from Friday to Sunday. When we first got there, the staff in the lobby was very helpful and checked us in very quickly. We got in around 1 PM but they were able to check us in right away. The location is perfect. Most places in Carmel Village were walking distance and it was also not too in the center to where it would be hard to get out of Carmel Village. The room was pretty clean and modern. The beds were also very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that I can hear people walking upstairs very very clearly. It sounded like they were walking in my room. However, that was only during the day. At night when I was sleeping, it was quiet and I did not hear any walking sounds. We also had no issues with parking. I assumed the parking spaces would be filled however we were able to always find a parking spot. I didn’t end up trying out the breakfast, but a few members of my group did go and enjoy it. If anything, they are also a lot of breakfast places around the area. Overall, I thought this was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here! Got our room upgraded to one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was perfect for what we needed. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Carmel, cannot beat the location!!

Staff was nice, room was fine, parking was ok a bit tight, place was clean and pretty quiet, breakfast was subpar even for a best western small room with no hot meal and waffle iron did not cook properly, lobby had a nice coffee drink machine, staff was attentive, had a pool but didn’t use

From the minute we arrived we were greeted by the manager who was very friendly, informative and helpful! The hotel was spotless and very pleasant! We WILL stay here again and will recommend the property to out friends!!!

Everything was spot on - great location in Carmel, helpful staff on arrival, adequate parking spaces, complimentary breakfast and spacious and clean rooms. Didn't get to use the pool but it was there to use if time allows. We were only staying for one night sadly. Would 100% return to this hotel.

The Best Western in Carmel is what you would expect as far as a room and breakfast goes. Simple, clean, a bite to eat in the morning. The location is very nice when visiting Carmel, you can walk to everything including the beach (5-10 minute walk down a hill). The Staff was very nice and the manager, Sanjay, was very personable. There is a small outdoor pool that my kids loved to play in.

Looking on pictures of the hotel didn't expect this tiny room with minimum surroundings. Actual room looks incomparable to pictures. Better to give more sense of reality to future guests.

The owners went above and beyond to help us. The staff service was excellent. The room was clean and had what we needed as a family. Perfect location.

Property parking was great. Room is very clean. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast need more variety.

The owners were so amazingly, friendly and helpful to all my many questions about the Area. The room was incredibly clean and cute! It contained everything I needed for a great stay. And the Belgian waffles were delicious! 😋

Parking is tight. But the area is easily accessible and staff was helpful and engaging.

Great place within walking distance to Ocean Ave. 10 min walk to the beach. Room was recently remodeled and clean. Front desk lady very nice and friendly. Limited but free breakfast and free parking. I can recommend this place. We stayed for one night.

Parking was free and easy. No air conditioning in room. Pillows were hard. I didn't sleep. Room had been updated but didn't work for me. Coffee maker had no plug had to run on night stand. The worst part was the free breakfast. All sugar! Location was good but we wouldn't choose again.

Parking was great. Everything was in walking distance. Only had to use the car once.

Room size, heating system, black out curtains, location is great and the free parking was perfect for us. shower water power was minimal. For me, it was fine but for my wife it wasn't powerful enough to wash her hair.
