Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn

One night we were there a large group of workers also stayed along with an armada of trucks. Some of the trucks took up 5 parking places and left no spots for others! We ate one meal there but the restaurant was almost empty and was creepy. The accommodation was not worth the high price we were charged.

The picture of the hotel is beautiful. I booked it and paid quite a lot for a view of a noisy on-ramp, parking lot, and freeway. Hot tub out of service. Seems to need a little maintenance. The bathroom door unable to close and the closet door very hard to slide. I don’t typically leave poor reviews but was disappointed with BW on this one.

The Best Western Carpentaria was a lovely facility with a vintage charm. The rooms were clean, the gardens beautiful - but the staff is it’s real treasure. Friendly, helpful & accommodating, they deserve every praise! Thank-you! We’ll be back. :)

The hotel is conveniently located off the 101. Parking is ample and the layout is good. Our room was clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Our only concern was the noise. It seems that because the architecture is a little dated, noise travels easily. If you stay on the first floor be ready to hear every step from above. We also looked forward to soaking in the jacuzzi; but it was out of order. Carpinteria is a nice slower paced town, great place if you want to experience the beach without the big crowds of Santa Barbara.

Cute hotel with friendly people. Gym equipment (bike and treadmill) were out of order as was the hot tub. Overall nice other than that

This is my second stay and I found my room clean and in order. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and I had a quick check-in. The location is very convenient to highway.

Definitely not the rating that I was expecting rooms could use a little bit more cleaning, but overall the staff was awesome

The tub would not drain and there was no ventilation in the bathroom so it steamed up. Disappointing that there isn’t a simple continental breakfast. There’s a coffee pot in the room with powdered creamer. Where are we supposed to get water from? We attempted to contact the hotel the night before to check prices but no one answered. So we had to book on Expedia.

Room was good (& clean).

Mario was our waiter for dinner at the Sunset Grill and he was FABULOUS!!! He was so helpful and sweet, made extra efforts to make sure we were happy and was SO attentive to our table-he deserves a HUGE raise!!!

the restaurant menu needs to change ! never ate at restaurant went somewhere else to eat.

Love the Location, but can be noisy with major street, freeway onramp and freeway behind hotel

The room was small but perfect for our little family of three. The property itself is beautiful and there are endless areas to hang out with friends. You also can’t beat the location!

Little pricey

The girl with the dyed hair at the front desk was awesome and helpful.

Breakfast was good and well priced. The bathroom fan didn't work and it was a heatwave but the ac didn't work very well. The ice machine was broken on my floor and the vending machines were on a different floor, but the hotel isn't huge and it is very well laid out. Going upstairs wasn't a big deal and the elevator was right there
