Price for what you get great location easy freeway access and close to dowtown Carpinteria which is really cute Good customer service at check in room had a balcony with slider for fresh air Cons carpet in our room wasnt vacuumed before we checked in carpet in hallways had lots of food crumbs etc walls were thin room smelled like mildew Called to front desk multiple times with no answer I'd stay again if I'm on a budget becuase the value is pretty good. But they could defintely improve the cleaning etc

Staff was really nice! The hotel rooms were nice and big! The outside of the hotel is beautiful lots of plants!

Hotel is very close to the freeway so ask for an inside garden room. Pool is very small. Staff were very helpful.

Took 90+ minutes to check in from my scheduled time due to understaffing

Sorry to say the pool is a joke. The spa is there in a small cubby hole but completelyvoid of water. The restaurant/bar on the third floor should not even be advertised. The courtyard, lobby and rooms are nice.

Staff at check in was great. The room was decent, no frills and looked clean. There were some things I didn't care for: our body wash in bathroom was practically empty and ran out before our stay ended, no room service to clean/make up beds. Our room had a slow draining sink which I hate and our second room had issues with the sink draining at all. Would probably not stay here again.

You can hear a lot of the noise from the other rooms but overall good experience very clean and good AC

I am sympathetic to that and was fine waiting but it was pretty much how the rest of our weekend went. We asked for towels and linens to be changed halfway through the trip and were told that couldn’t be done because how short staffed the hotel was. Thankfully I was able to get housekeeping to give me towels that I happened to pass in the hallway. Asked one day if our room could be cleaned and was told yes, we left at 8am and when we returned around 3pm, the room was still not cleaned. I called and asked if our room was still scheduled to be cleaned and was told that it was too late in the day for that to happen. Thankfully Sarah, from the front desk, offered to service the room herself while we were gone for dinner and she did such a great job. Our room looked amazing and even better when we checked in (there was dog hair and rice on the floor at check in, which I brought up.). Sarah was the saving grace of our stay and I really want to take the time to appreciate her for her hospitality and is the only reason the rating for this stay isn’t lower. My family appreciates all you did.

This is a nice hotel with a lovely courtyard. Our room was rather small and it was not made up as requested on either day. On the second day at 3:30 after insisting the room be made up it finally was.

Only negative to report is if you are not on the top floor don't be alarmed by the squeaky floor boards above you if folks get up early. Wasn't planning to get up at 5AM. Everything else was great

Bed and pillows were horrible. Loudest ac units in the world that will wake you up every time they kick on. Property looks great on the exterior though.
