This is an modest, older, but very attractive and well-kept property. It is an excellent value. Beds were comfortable. Our room was small but thoughtfully arranged so that it didn't feel cramped. The Spanish style of the building is pretty and is a good fit for the area. The hotel is walking distance (less than half a mile) to a few good restaurants and a shopping center. It's a short drive to the beach, some walking trails, a skateboard park and a driving range.

And no one was at the front desk at about 10:45 pm

It was a nice and quiet motel.

First of all it's a motel. No one should charge $340 a night for an outdated room. The staff was nice and the room was clean but the pictures are very deceiving. I wouldn't go back.

Nice as Best Western or Holiday Inn Express but for the price it was an excellent option. We spent most of our time outside in the town so it worked out great!

Mattress was extremely in need of replacement. AC unit very loud. Property itself was okay. Not worth the price of the stay.

Nothing to like about this place . We left at 12:29 am due to cockroaches and bed bugs.. There was no staff here to complain to or to get our money back.. Don't stay here. BEDBUGS AND COCKROACHES

I asked for a refund because I didn't feel safe; she said no. I then requested not to be near the room where the man was yelling (he was drunk), and she placed me two doors down. Overall, the check-in experience was horrible. I had booked a suite, but the room I was in wasn't a suite (it didn't look like the photo); it wasn't a suite at all. The photo that I saw had a small stove. The only reason for my stay was that my family was camping nearby and the photos looked nice. I probably will never stay here again!

Cute vintage feel However… old lumpy mattresses, flashing lights-porch….chipped tile on outdoor table and only one chair although had booked for two with two beds. Bedside table also had a chewed corner. Dent in fridge. TV on wall was lopsided which I pointed out to staff and they stated someone would come around but never did. I guess I would’ve overlooked everything else if only our mattresses had been firm. Almost forgot air conditioning goes on and off intermittently. You would start to sweat then air came on which effected your sleep also..

My sister said the coffee was delicious! Nice selection of tea and bagels for me.

The location worked well for us. We walked everywhere. The gardens were beautiful. It was very nice to eat dinner in the large garden area. It was quiet and peaceful. The pillows were too hard and very large. I didn't use them. The continental breakfast was sad. Bagels, 3 cereals, instant oatmeal and coffee, etc...no fruit or hard boiled eggs or yogurt.

The property is in a fantastic location, incredibly convenient to local grocery stores, cafes, the beach, and the highway. Inside, the rooms are spacious and remarkably quiet. While the proximity to a neighboring apartment complex might make the exterior areas seem a bit livelier than usual during the day, it never impacted our stay. The vibe is entirely family-oriented; the worst of it was just a few small weekend BBQs that wrapped up early. There was absolutely no late-night partying, making for a peaceful and pleasant experience.
